Following complaints, Noida Authority officials said a guard was found collecting fees in the evening and has been removed from duty. Entry to the park has now been made free during evening hours for the duration of the closure.
The park, which sees a footfall of nearly 1,000 visitors on weekends and 400–500 on weekdays, remains open from 6am to 12 noon and from 4.30pm to 9pm.
While entry is free in the morning, visitors are charged Rs 20 in the evening.
Anand Mohan, deputy director (horticulture), Noida Authority, said the entry fee had been suspended since July 3 due to the ongoing repair work.
"We investigated the complaint and found a security guard was still collecting the fee. He has been removed from duty," he said, adding that the fountains and laser show would resume from July 13.
Brajesh Sharma, a resident of Antriksh Golf View in Sector 78, said he visited the park on Sunday and found both the fountains and the laser show were not operational. "Despite this, the security guard collected Rs 20 from several visitors," he said.
