Marauders rally back, beat Penn Cambria in semifinals
ALTOONA (WTAJ) — Late free throws iced a wild District 6 semifinal win for Bishop Guilfoyle as the Marauders rally back to beat Penn Cambria Tuesday night, 76-68.
The Panthers embraced it's mountain mentality early, going up 38-22 behind a 23-point night from senior Brandon Rabish. But unable to put Bishop Guilfoyle away, that lead slipped.
The Marauders rallied to within four at halftime, and took the lead in the third behind a Nick Foor three as he capped off a 22-2 run.
Foor led the Marauders with 20 points, and another triple but BG up 66-56 early in the fourth.
But Penn Cambria did not go quietly. Rabish led Penn Cambria's last effort and got the Panthers within 3 in the final minute. But BG iced it at the line as the Marauders head back to the District 6 championship to face Forest Hills.
