Roman Reigns Receives Big Offer Ahead Of WWE Summerslam. This Happens Next

Days ahead of Summerslam 2025, Roman Reigns declined Paul Heyman's proposal to join his new faction comprising of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, who seek new leadership in the absence of Seth Rollins. Rollins, who currently holds the men's Money in the Bank contract, seemingly injured his ankle during his match against LA Knight at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event earlier this month. However, it is not clear whether Rollins is actually injured as multiple reports have claimed that it might be a production masterclass from the WWE. On the penultimate Monday Night Raw (Tuesday IST) before Summerslam, Reigns went face-to-face with Heyman, who betrayed him, along with Breakker and Reed beside him. The former wiseman, uncharacteristically emotional, told Reigns he still loved his Tribal Chief and believed they could "fix this" together. Reigns, however, wasn't having any of it as he called Heyman a fool, thus rejection his offer to align with Breakker and Reed. The OTC also warned Breakker that Heyman would turn on him just like he did to him and others in the past. "You're not a Wiseman anymore you're just a dumba**," said Reigns. He also accused Heyman of ruining The Bloodline, while also acknowledging the likes of The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Sami Zayn for helping him throughout his historic title reign. He once again called Heyman a dumba**. The OTC has SPOKEN! — WWE (@WWE) July 22, 2025 A furious Breakker took the mic told Reigns that he is the new top dog in WWE and asked him to do what he does best, "walk away". Reigns calmly handed the mic to Breakker before smashing him with a cheeky Superman Punch, followed by a trademark spear. Reigns tried to deal with both Breakker and Reed at the same time, but the numbers began to overwhelm him. As Reed was about to hit him with a Tsunami, Jey Uso's music hit and he charged to the ring to help out his cousin. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion hit both Breakker and Reed with a superkick each, allowing Reigns to regroup. Together, they hit dual spears Jey taking out Breakker while Roman crashed into Reed leaving Heyman's faction laid out. When it Reigns, it SPEARS! — WWE (@WWE) July 22, 2025 Reigns was also grooving to the "YEET" chants after he and Jey took out Breakker and Reed.

WWE 'Raw': Roman Reigns returns, CM Punk earns title shot

July 15 (UPI) -- Roman Reigns made a triumphant return to WWE to help out his cousin Jey Uso and CM Punk on WWE Raw. Uso and Punk were involved in a Gauntlet match on Monday to determine who will face World Heavyweight Champion Gunther at SummerSlam. Bron Breakker kicked off the Gauntlet by taking on Penta. Breakker and manager Paul Heyman were without their leader, Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins, who is recovering from an injury. Heyman, earlier in the night, refused to give an update on Rollins' status but stated that Rollins would not be relinquishing the Money in the Bank briefcase. Breakker defeated Penta with a Spear before taking on LA Knight. Breakker won the match after raking Knight's eyes and nailing him with a Gutbuster and Spear combo. Uso was up next against Breakker, who was joined by his partner Bronson Reed. Uso was in control of the match until Reed got involved, allowing Breakker to hit another Spear and gained another victory. Punk was the last competitor to enter the Gauntlet match and went to battle with Breakker. Reed once again got involved; however, Uso returned to even the odds. Punk was able to counter a Spear attempt by Breakker and landed the GTS to earn the three count. Punk will go on to face Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. Breakker and Reed, upset at the result, started to beat down Punk and Uso until Reigns arrived onto the scene. The Original Tribal Chief delivered Superman Punches and Spears to both Breakker and Reed as the crowd cheered. Reigns then helped Uso up and shook his hand as Raw went off the air. Reigns was last seen in March following WrestleMania 41. SummerSlam will take place over two nights on Aug. 2 and 3. Rapper Cardi B will host the event. Roman Reigns Issues a Sharp Warning on Social Media After Earth-Shattering Return on Raw

Image via WWE (YouTube) The July 14th episode of Monday Night Raw ended on a thunderous note as Roman Reigns made his highly anticipated return to WWE television. This marked Reigns' first on-screen appearance since being brutally taken out by Bron Breakker the night after WrestleMania 41. Now back with purpose and intensity, 'The OTC' hasn't forgotten the ambush, and it looks like he's returned with revenge on his mind. Roman Reigns Warns His Opponents After His Return to Raw After closing out the show, Roman Reigns took to social media and issued a short yet sharp response after his return. 'The OTC' wrote, 'More receipts to come! Good to be back. #WWERaw' — WWERomanReigns (@WWERomanReigns) This was certainly evident when Reigns took out Breakker and Bronson Reed as soon as he returned. This week's Raw saw a Gauntlet match to decide the next opponent for Gunther and his World Heavyweight title at SummerSlam. By the end of it, CM Punk earned his ticket to SummerSlam, securing a shot at gold against the Austrian. But it wasn't easy. Punk had to survive a dominant run by Breakker, who bulldozed through Penta, LA Knight, and Jey Uso before facing Punk in the final stretch. In the closing moments, chaos erupted. Reed ran in and blindsided Punk, nearly costing him the match. That's when Uso stormed the ring to even the odds, clearing Reed and setting the stage for Punk to land the GTS on Breakker for the win. But the celebration didn't last long. Breakker and Reed immediately launched a brutal post-match assault on both Punk and Uso. Asuka and Kairi Sane vs. Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez This was a non-title tag team match between the two sides. CM Punk Punches His Ticket to SummerSlam to Challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship

Images via WWE Before the main event of the July 14th Raw could start, Gunther made his way to the ring and proudly boasted about putting an end to Goldberg's legendary career. With a sharp grin, he declared that the Hall of Famer is now finished for good. The World Champion went on to say that the top stars of Raw would now battle each other, purely for his amusement, to earn a shot at his championship. Paul Heyman interrupted and walked down the ramp with Bron Breakker at his side. Grabbing a mic, Heyman warned Gunther about Breakker's inhuman strength. He then confidently announced that Breakker would run through every obstacle in his path and claim the title at SummerSlam. With tensions running high, the gauntlet match kicked off immediately, with Breakker squaring off against his first opponent, Penta. Interestingly, Gunther is seated in the nosebleeds to watch the action. Bron Breakker vs. Penta vs. LA Knight vs. Jey Uso vs. CM Punk Breakker started strong with a t-bone suplex, followed by shoulder thrusts in the corner and a huge lariat. As Penta rolled to the outside, he came flying back with a tope con giro. Bron stayed aggressive. However, Penta managed to hang him up on the top rope and hit a handstand double stomp, followed by a lungblower, but Breakker powered out. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Redefine Your Future with a Top Online MBA JAIN Online Learn More Undo He then caught Penta mid-springboard and ended it with a thunderous spear for the pin. He then eliminated the Mexican with a pinfall. Next up is LA Knight. He took the fight to Breakker early with a neckbreaker and some brutal arm work around the ring post. Knight even sent Bron to the floor with a wrecking ball dropkick. However, Breakker turned things around by slamming Knight face-first into the announce desk. After some back-and-forth, Knight went for the BFT, but Bron raked the eyes and hit a fireman's carry gutbuster before finishing him off with a spear for the elimination. Jey Uso entered next and exploded with offense, suicide dives, superkicks, and an Ode to Rikishi. After surviving an Avalanche Frankensteiner, Jey nearly had it won with a spear of his own. But just as he climbed up top, Bronson Reed interfered, injuring Jey's arm. That gave Bron the opening he needed to hit another spear and eliminate Uso. CM Punk was the final entrant, and he came in fired up, hitting knee strikes, a bulldog, and clearing the ring. Breakker answered back with power moves and mocked Punk before hitting a suplex and an Avalanche Frankensteiner. Punk rallied with a swinging neckbreaker and nearly won it with the Anaconda Vise, but Reed interfered again. Just as things looked bleak, Uso returned to even the odds, taking out Reed. That distraction gave Punk the opening to catch Breakker with a fireman's carry and deliver the Go to Sleep for the win. CM Punk wins the gauntlet, last eliminating Breakker by pinfall, and becomes the #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. 'The Best in the World' will now face Gunther at SummerSlam for gold. And to the fans' delight, Roman Reigns also made his grand return to the WWE and saved a battered Punk and Uso from Seth Rollins' henchmen. This will probably set up a tag team match at SummerSlam with Breakker and Reed facing Uso and 'The OTC'. For the unversed, this was Reigns' first TV appearance after being taken out by Breakker on the Raw after WrestleMania 41.
