Real reason behind Ekin-Su and Curtis Pritchard's split as Love Islanders ‘held crisis talks' this week
THE real reason behind Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu's split with Curtis Pritchard has been revealed after the All Stars duo held "crisis talks" this week. The Sun can exclusively report how their shock break-up - after three weeks of dating following their time in the Love Island spin-off villa - "wasn't weeks in the making." 6 6 6 As such, the split is said to be "raw" for both parties who discovered they were "growing apart" - with work opportunities proving a key divide. A source close to the former couple has now told The Sun of the break-up: 'It was very much a mutual decision, but it happened very recently in the last few days. "It certainly wasn't weeks in the making, so it's still raw for them both but they had a series of crisis talks in the recent days which were emotional for them both. "They wanted to make it work, but they felt they like they were growing apart and they couldn't see a way forward. "One of the biggest issues for their relationship was their busy careers - it sounds like a cliche but Ekin, 30, is getting a lot of work opportunities out in America, while Curtis, 29, is focussing on his burgeoning boxing career as well as his new investment app. "As they are both so busy, it was becoming harder to prioritise the relationship and they realised that wasn't a good sign. "They are still on really good terms and it's all very amicable. "Nobody was blindsided, so there is no bad blood between them." The finalists of the hit reality-dating spin-off had sparked concern they'd broken up earlier this month. EKIN-SU'S STATEMENT Today, Ekin-Su shared a statement on social media confirming they had parted ways. She said: "I wanted to share that Curtis and I have decided to go our separate ways. "It's been a really tough decision, but one made with a lot of love and respect for one another. "He's an incredible person and I'll always cherish the memories we made both in and out of the villa. CURTIS' TAKE Curtis released his own statement shortly after the pair called it quits. In a message shared with his fans on social media, he wrote: "Just a quick note to say thank you so much for all the kind messages — it really does mean the world. "It's true, Ekin and I have decided to go our separate ways. Breakups are never easy, but I'll always be grateful for the laughs, the adventures, and the memories (especially the dance routines). He continued: "She's an amazing woman and I've got nothing but love and respect for her." The statement concluded: "I'll be keeping busy with work, boxing, dancing, and working with the team on FINT. Lots of love, Curtis x" The former couple made it to the final of the second All Stars series in January this year. The pair have continually prompted split rumours, with claims first starting to swirl after they spent Easter apart. Recently, the Turkish actress and TV star sparked suggestions they'd broken up after she was seen arriving at the TV Baftas in London solo - despite the fact the professional dancer was in the city at the time. Yet their passionate display at Curtis ' professional boxing debut on a Misfits card seemed to set the record straight. The pair also found themselves in the midst of a bizarre feud with MAFS star Georges Berthonneau. He previously claimed Ekin-Su "cheated" on him and said they were dating before she returned to Love Island. Georges, 32, claimed he was in a secret 10-month relationship with Ekin when she entered the All Stars villa this year. 6 6 6

A LOVE Island hunk has sparked a feud with a show ex, after taking a swipe at her while stripping down for a sauna video. Teddy Soares could be seen sitting in a sauna in his black swim shorts. 4 4 He wrote a message over the top of his post, which read: 'I don't want peace… 'We want wifey who makes me act right on sight. 'She exists right?' In the video, Teddy can be seen sitting cross legged with his eyes closed, before ushering someone to come inside and join him in the sauna. The reality star wrote as his caption: 'That aura that suddenly makes you sit right.' Teddy appeared to take a dig at his Love Island ex, Faye Winter, as he questioned whether a girl who 'makes [him] act right on sight' exists. Former estate agent Faye has previously suggested Teddy had been messaging other girls behind her back, a claim he has denied. Faye met Teddy in the Love Island villa in 2021 and sparks flew as they fell for each other. Their relationship came to a bitter end in 2023, following a round of failed 'crisis talks'. The pair, who were together for 18 months after meeting in the villa, have never confirmed the exact catalyst for their break-up. Speculation followed a video showing Teddy getting into a taxi with a group of girls, after one of the girls claimed he cheated with her in a hotel room. Faye sparked concern from fans as she lost weight in the aftermath, admitting: "I didn't recognise myself". The star later revealed she was in therapy while in the relationship and delayed making the final decision to end it. "The backlash from our break-up was horrendous", she said. "I always knew if we were to break up, that I would be the issue and he would be the saint. "I think that's why I stayed with him so much longer than I should have because I mentally wasn't in a place where I could deal with that."

Love Island winners SPLIT just weeks after making it official
CASEY O'Gorman and Gabby Allen have split just weeks after going official. The Sun can exclusively reveal the pair, who won Love Island: All Stars earlier this year, have separated on good terms. 5 5 A source said: 'Casey and Gabby have both decided to part way. They had a really good relationship and enjoyed each others time but the reality is that they are focusing on different things and they both have realised that. "Neither of them have parted ways badly but they just knew it wasn't going to work anymore. "Both have confided in quite a few friends about this and so it's not really a secret in their circles, but they've made the decision to part ways this week.' The Sun has contacted reps for Casey and Gabby for comment. It was only in April that fitness pro Gabby, 33, revealed Casey, 28, had made her his girlfriend. She shared a clip on Instagram showing her having her makeup done for an event and Casey was talking over the video. Gabby said: "Boyfriend does my voiceover. Getting red carpet ready with @maybelline." Up until then, the one time villa lothario had remained coy on their relationship status. Casey told "Like, I will ask Gabby to be my girlfriend at some point. "But do you know what it is? It's all this like noise of, 'When are you going to ask? When are you going to ask?' I feel like I don't want to now just ask it because people are saying it. I want to just do it.' Love Island star Gabby reveals she is FINALLY Casey's girlfriend two months after winning show Gabby added: 'We don't feel pressure from boyfriend and girlfriend to where we are now. I think it will happen just naturally.' The Liverpool lass denied rumours they'd split when she jetted off to Dubai without Casey.
