Edmonton police seek two suspects in series of apartment break and enters

The Edmonton Police Service is warning the public about a series of apartment break and enters in central Edmonton and are seeking to identify two suspects.

On July 7, police were called to an apartment complex near 106 Street and 97 Avenue. According to apartment security and tenants, several units had been broken into and various items reported stolen.

In a Wednesday press release, acting superintendent at the EPS downtown branch Brent Dahlseide warned Edmontonians to remain vigilante and ensure valuables are secure.

'We're reaching peak summer vacation time. If you know you're going to be away from your residence for some time, it's a good idea to have a trusted friend, family member, or neighbour check in on your property frequently while you're away,' Dahlseide said.

Both men were seen in the area between 12 a.m. to 1 a.m. on July 1. Police are asking anyone who may have seen them in the area or witnessed suspicious activity on June 29 at 1 a.m. to come forward.
