(Image: File photo) A review from one week ago wrote: 'My husband and I went to the Brewery Inn for Sunday lunch while we were staying in the village. 'We didn't have a starter, but we had beautiful topside of beef with Yorkshire pudding and fantastically cooked vegetables. Gravy was lovely and tasty. 'For dessert, my husband had sticky toffee pudding and asked if he could have custard which wasn't a problem even though it wasn't on the menu. 'I had toffee apple cheesecake and ice cream. I finished the meal with a coffee. It wasn't the cheapest meal we've had but definitely one of the best. Well done to all the staff at The Brewery Inn, Cosheston.' Numerous reviews applaud the pub's food. (Image: Google Maps) Ashley and Sukie have a son named Romeo, and a dog called 'Sunday' – the couple took over from former owners John Lowdon and Steven Lester who ran the pub for ten years. A review from last month (April 2025) added: 'Easy online booking. Great host in a lovely setting. Dogs very welcome. Special chicken tikka thighs and hash brown bites were very tasty and presented beautifully. 'The steak sandwich was pink and tender -and the Gammon was judged excellent by my butcher husband. Reasonably priced and nice wine too. Thanks, we really enjoyed our lunch visit on a wet Saturday.' Ashley was a chef for over 12 years before taking over the pub. (Image: Google Maps) Despite never running a pub before this one, the couple have maintained The Brewery Inn's excellent reputation. Another review from April said: 'I recently dined at The Brewery Inn, Cosheston, and I can't recommend it enough! 'The food was nothing short of fantastic. The highlight of our experience was the exceptional service; Ashley, the owner, went above and beyond by squeezing us in last minute and even surprised me with a lovely birthday banner. 'The warm and welcoming atmosphere, combined with attentive staff, made for an unforgettable celebration. If you're in the area, don't miss this gem!'
