Rebel Wilson shares her diet tips as she enters the last week of her health challenge
Australian star Rebel Wilson has taken to social media to share her latest eating tip as she enters the last week of her 'health challenge'. The 45-year-old actress has been on a weight loss 'kick' since Easter, shedding 1kg over the last five weeks after cutting chocolate and ice cream from her diet. On Wednesday, the Bridesmaids star posted a selfie to show off a 'healthy' evening meal consisting of chicken breast and salad. She also detailed the last week of her challenge, encouraging followers to focus on trying out multiple healthy lifestyle habits. 'Ok, so you delete some things from your life that are unhealthy and pick up some healthy habits,' she explained. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. She added, 'So not just focusing on but trying multiple healthy habits, which will be a struggle. 'I might have to write myself a little checklist on a post it note and make sure I'm trying to do each thing each day. 'But I tell you what, if you can get into a really good groove with all these healthy habits, it can be really great for your physical and mental health and that's really important.' Rebel offered to open up her DM's to followers so that they could update her on their progress. 'I just want you guys to be the healthiest versions of you that you can be,' the actress said as she signed off. 'Congrats to everyone that's been on the challenge. Let's go hard week week six. Let's do it.' It comes after the Pitch Perfect star first launched her health challenge after last month. The Sydney-born star, who dropped more than 36kg (80lb) back in 2021, announced that her latest attempt to change her eating habits resulted in further weight loss. 'My first few days were a bit rough giving up chocolate and ice cream - I wanted it so badly!' she wrote on Instagram in April. 'I didn't have it though! But I did have some moments of weakness and ate a few "unhealthy" things - like chips. 'But we can be perfect! And overall I was eating much healthier than the weeks prior - so I'm proud of myself for that.' The health kick has resulted in a small weight loss for the star. 'I did happen to lose 1kg (2.2lb) last week - which is not the point of the challenge - but it goes to show you how many Easter Eggs I was eating before I started!!' she explained. Rebel initially lost weight after a 'year of health' and some help from Ozempic, and has again cut out sweet treats in a new challenge to amend her eating habits. Six weeks again Rebel encouraged her 11 million followers to join her as she cuts out chocolate and ice cream. It comes after she opened up about her weight loss journey to People in May 2022. When she discussed fertility treatments with a doctor: 'He looked me up and down and said, 'You'd do much better if you were healthier.'' Rebel confessed: 'I was taken aback. I thought, "Oh God, this guy's so rude." He was right. I was carrying around a lot of excess weight.' She reflected at the time, 'It's almost like I didn't think of my own needs. I thought of a future child's needs that really inspired me to get healthier.' Rebel is now mother to two-year-old daughter Royce, who she welcomed via surrogate and co-parents with wife Ramona Agruma. In regards to how she achieved her weight loss, Wilson focused on becoming more active by walking and doing high-intensity interval training (HIIT) with her personal trainer.

Iconic comedian looks unrecognisable as he sports rotten teeth for new role - but can you guess who it is?
This iconic comedian looked unrecognisable as he shared a snap of himself in costume complete with rotten teeth to Instagram on Sunday. The funnyman who is best known for his unforgettable sketch characters and catchphrases is currently performing in Arena shows of Les Mis in Sydney and Melbourne. From a foul-mouthed schoolgirl to a Welsh homosexual there are no ends to his acting talents, not to mention appearances in Hollywood blockbusters Gladiator 2 and Bridesmaids. He most recently reunited with his comedy partner after a fallout much to the delight of fans, who hope the pair will be back on screens together soon. But can you guess who it is? From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Of course, it's none other than Matt Lucas, 51, who is best known for his creating and starring in Little Britain alongside David Walliams, 53. Little Britain - which aired on BBC Three and One - had 44 episodes, which aired over three seasons between 2003 and 2006. In February, the pair reunited for a new podcast Making A Scene, 15-years after they rounded off their sole season of Come Fly With Me - a mockumentary about a fictional airport and airlines. Earlier this month Matt, who is playing Monsieur Thénardier in the musical, was replaced mid-performance by his co-star Connor Jones after experiencing health issues on stage. Taking to Instagram he explaining that he had to bow out after feeling his voice 'deserting' him mid-performance. He wrote: 'I've been having a magical time in Les Miserables in arenas in Sydney and Melbourne. He continued: 'In over 30 years I've never had to bow out during a performance but tonight, as I was singer Master Of The House, I could feel my voice deserting me, 'So if Thenardier looked very different in Act 2, that was because the amazing Connor Jones took over. Matt, who is playing Monsieur Thénardier in the musical, looked worlds away from his usual self Matt reassured fans that he is now resting and hopes to return to the stage soon, adding: 'I'm now in bed resting up, and hope to be back on stage soon.' The tour began in Sydney last month and continues in Melbourne through May 25, before moving to Brisbane for five shows. The Australian leg is a limited five-week engagement celebrating the 40th anniversary of the original London production. It comes after David and Matt teased an epic Little Britain revival during a live appearance on Lorraine earlier this year. The two, who created and starred in the BBC comedy series, chatted with Lorraine Kelly, 65, on the ITV show about their new podcast. During their appearance on the morning talk show, Lorraine was desperate to know if the programme would ever make a return, after it was pulled from BBC iPlayer, Netflix and BritBox in June 2020. David said: 'Would you like to see it? We'll do it especially for you.' Matt added: 'If we were to do it again, maybe on stage, or something like that. 'We did a tour 20 years ago, it was great fun, I think that would be a good way to do it again.' He wrote: 'In over 30 years I've never had to bow out during a performance but tonight, as I was singer Master Of The House, I could feel my voice deserting me' Earlier on in the interview Lorraine told the stars: 'Little Britain has had a new lease of life on TikTok. There is a whole new generation getting it, laughing.' David replied: 'Well my son is 11. Everyone at his school is talking about it. As you rightly said, TikTok, people are sharing on TikTok. 'It's a whole new generation discovering it. I think those social media things are great for one/two minute clips.' Lorraine confessed that she remembered when she was watching it that George Michael and Elton John appeared on the series. Lorraine said: 'Some of it is a bit you'd get into trouble if you did that now. But a hell of a lot of it is still as funny as it ever was. If you don't want to watch it, don't watch it.' David confessed: 'I don't know about you, but someone says every day is there going to be more Little Britain. 'Every day someone comes up to me in the street.'

Jon Hamm reveals he found the final season of Mad Man 'very difficult' to film
Jon Hamm has reflected on the time he spent filming Mad Men, sharing that the final season was 'very difficult' to get through. The 54-year-old is currently stealing the show, literally, as Andrew Cooper in acclaimed Apple TV+ series Your Friends and Neighbors. Before this, he played Don Draper to perfection for eight years in the AMC drama about a charming advertising executive at a New York-based firm in the 60s, alongside Elisabeth Moss, January Jones, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery and Robert Morse. The award-winning show first hit our screens in 2007 and ran for seven seasons before ending in May 2015. In a new interview, Jon touched on the 10-year anniversary of Mad Men ending, revealing that he was gutted to spend so much time away from his co-stars, as Don found himself on a separate journey during those last episodes. 'It has been 10 years since Mad Men went off the air. And then you go, 'S**t',' he told GQ. 'A lot of that stuff from the last season I remember was very difficult to do, for many reasons. My character was going out on his kind of vision quest. 'I realized, oh, s**t, there's probably going to be three or four episodes of the show that I'm not going to be working with the main cast of the show.' The finale also became extremely poignant for the actor, who met wife Anna Osceola while filming Don's final moments in Big Sur – they shared the screen for a few moments before the credits rolled. The couple also tied the knot two years ago in the exact location that they met, and where audiences bid farewell to a very complicated character. Speaking of the impact the series had, and how his career changed afterwards, Jon continued: 'I knew it would be unlikely to have another experience like Mad Men. Because it was culturally defining, it was a moment in time. 'Everything lined up for that show to be what it was at the time it was. And I was okay with that. Some people don't even get the one. So I got one. 'I got all the awards I needed. [After it ended] I was like, 'I'm good'. I just want to work with people I find compelling. And I hope that I get to do stuff that other people like. But the only real barometer is that I like it.' In Your Friends and Neighbors, the Bridesmaids actor took on a totally different role, playing a hedge fund manager who gets sacked from his high-paying job after a consensual sexual encounter with a colleague. He is also struggling to cope after divorcing his wife, but attempts to keep up appearances by stealing from his affluent neighbors. Coop is the latest in a line of twisted, dark role that Jon has portrayed throughout his career and, speaking to Metro, he shed light on how he gets into the mind frame of such a complex character 'Part of it is really working with the creator of the show, the writer of the show, and having the discussion of where are we going to go? Especially telling the story the way we tell it,' he told us. More Trending 'Mostly it's really establishing the story of the character first, and that's just having a central line of communication with the writer, creator. I had that with Matt Weiner on Mad Men. 'Matt knew exactly where Don had come from, and he knew exactly where he was going to go. He just didn't know how many episodes he was going to have in between. That was the fun journey, as well, on that show. 'With this one, it was that Jonathan knew that he was going to have the arc of the first season really well planned out. View More » 'I knew that it was going to get very dark, and that was going to be the central gravity of the show, but I also knew that we were going to have a lot of fun telling that story as well.'
