Brighton Racecourse ready for Festival - with special offer for Albion fans
Albion fans can enjoy cut-price admission as Brighton Racecourse enjoys its biggest week of the year.
The three-day Brighton Festival Of Racing gets under way tomorrow with 63 runners declared to race on the opening day.
There is more than £175,000 worth of prize money on offer across the meeting with the feature race worth £20,000 each day.
Twelve horses have been declared for tomorrow's feature, the Sapporo Japanese Premium Lager Brighton Mile Challenge Handicap (3.45pm).
Seven-time course-and-distance winner Uncle Dick, who is trained by Eve Johnson-Houghton, will bid to repeat his surprise last-to-first win of last year when he went off at 28-1.
Press Association tipsters have had a look at the first-day card and believe consistent Pop Dancer can maintain his impressive form season in the Star Sports We Believe In Bookmaking Handicap.
The eight-year-old has not finished outside the top three on his last six starts and has shown a liking for the Sussex track, where he has won three times.
He won at Goodwood in May before being beaten by just three-quarters of a length at Brighton but then went one better on his return to the seaside.
