Woman faces year in jail for 4th DUI conviction
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A woman with three prior drunken driving convictions faces a year in jail and felony probation after pleading no contest to charges of drunken driving and driving on a suspended license, prosecutors say. Her latest arrest happened in February in southwest Bakersfield. Trial date set for woman charged with 4th DUI
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A May trial date was set Monday for a Bakersfield woman accused of driving with a blood-alcohol content more than twice the legal limit when she crashed last month. Brittney Cheema, who has three prior DUI convictions, is scheduled for trial on May 5, according to court records. She faces two felony DUI counts, a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license and an infraction for operating a vehicle with a BAC of 0.01% or higher while on probation for DUI. Woman with 3 prior DUIs is facing felony DUI charges
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A woman with three prior drunken driving convictions was arraigned Thursday on felony DUI charges. Not guilty pleas were entered on behalf of Brittney Cheema, who is facing two felony counts due to her prior convictions, according to court records. Prosecutors also filed a misdemeanor charge of driving on a license that was suspended or revoked for DUI. Cheema, 25, is due back in court March 11.
