Man accused of trying to take boy, 6, off sidewalk in Brooklyn: NYPD
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 6-year-old boy was nearly taken from a sidewalk in Brooklyn late Sunday, according to the NYPD. Police said it happened near Stillwell and Surf avenues around 10 p.m. A 36-year-old man is accused of trying to take the child, according to authorities. More Local News Police took the man into custody. The child was transported to a local hospital, according to authorities. The circumstances behind the incident are unclear. Man fatally stabbed on MTA shuttle bus: NYPD
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A 41-year-old man was fatally stabbed on an MTA bus in Brooklyn Sunday afternoon, according to the NYPD. The incident happened around 1:54 p.m. on a J90 shuttle bus near Crescent Street and Etna Street. More Local News Police say the victim was stabbed in the abdomen. He was transported to the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Investigations into the stabbing are ongoing.
