RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment responded to a report of shots fired in the 200 block of Brooks Drive around 9:40 p.m. Police say their initial investigation indicates gun fire was exchanged by people in two vehicles travelling east. No injuries have been reported. Brooks Drive was closed for several hours as officers gathered evidence. Police say they do not have a description of the vehicles involved at this time. The investigation is ongoing. The RCMP asks anyone with information about the incident to contact police at 902-490-5020 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
