Man charged with assaulting corrections officer in the Broome County jail

A Broome County man has been accused of attacking a corrections officer while being booked at the Broome County jail. Christopher A. Dickinson, 58, was brought to the Broome County Correctional Facility at about 1:15 a.m. June 15 by Village of Johnson City Police after being taken into custody and accused of second-degree criminal mischief, a felony, according to the Broome County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office alleged that minutes later, at 1:20 a.m. during the booking procedure, Dickinson punched a female corrections sergeant in the face. Dickinson was charged with assault on a peace officer, a felony, in connection with the alleged attack. He was arraigned at central arraignment and remanded to the Broome County Correctional Facility. Pavlisak is wanted for Violating the Sex Offender Registry, second offense, and New York State Parole Violation. Pavlisak is described as a white man with brown hair and green eyes. He is five feet nine inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. Pavlisak was last known to frequent the Upper Court Street area of the Town of Kirkwood. TOWN OF FENTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – A Pennsylvania man is facing multiple felony DWI charges after crashing his car with two small kids inside in the Town of Fenton, the Broome County Sheriff's Office announced Friday. 42-year-old Jason M. Delong, of Susquehanna, Pa, is accused of displaying signs of impairment, including glossy eyes, poor coordination and balance, and a failed field sobriety test after crashing his car with a three-year-old and four-year-old inside in the area of 792 NY Route 369 in Fenton. Officials say the car was traveling north on Rt. 369 when it left the road, struck a guardrail and crossed two lanes of traffic before stopping on Gould Road. Police say there were no child safety seats in the car either. Members of Broome Ambulance and Port Crane Fire responded with BCSO Road Patrol and evaluated the kids for any injuries. The children were cleared without injury. The two children involved remained at the nearby residence with a community member and members of the Broome County Sheriff's Office until a family member arrived to take them home. Delong was processed and arraigned at the Central Arraignment Part before being remanded tothe Broome County Correctional Facility. He was officially charged with: Two (2) Counts of Aggravated DWI (with Child Passenger under 16, First Offense),Class E Felonies Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs (Prior Conviction), a Class E Felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 1st Degree, a Class E Felony Two (2) Counts of Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd Degree, Class A Misdemeanors BCSO was assisted at the scene by Broome Ambulance Services and Port Crane FireDepartment. Police searching for missing Binghamton mother

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Police are searching for a 28-year-old Binghamton woman last seen in Endicott after visiting her children on Friday, May 23. Victoria Price, who also goes by Victoria Jaliah, was last seen in Endicott at the bus stop in front of the Burger King on E Main Street on Friday between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Her family says she was heading back to Binghamton after visiting her two children in Endicott. Price was wearing a grey sweatshirt, olive green pants, black and white Converse, and a black backpack. Price is approximately 4 feet 9 inches tall, weighs roughly 280 pounds, with curly brown hair and brown eyes. Binghamton Police initially took the report, and the Broome County Sheriff's Office confirmed with News 34 that its detectives are now on the case. In the message to News 34, Price's family said 'We need Victoria's story out there! Her Mom, children, father of her children, family and friends are extremely worried and need her back NOW.' Local residents in the area are encouraged to check their doorbell or security cameras to assist in the case.
