Notre Dame is coming off arguably its biggest recruiting weekend of the offseason, and Devin Fitzgerald was not disappointed.
The Class of 2026 receiver from Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ), who is the son of NFL legend Larry Fitzgerald, returned to South Bend for an official visit and was able to congregate with other recruits, current players and coaches.
Fighting Irish head coach Marcus Freeman hosted all of the official visitors at his house for food and games Friday night, which was one of the highlights of the visit.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder, who is a three-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, will take an official visit to North Carolina next weekend and then make his commitment July 5.
Could ND land yet another legacy recruit?
Last season, Fitzgerald hauled in 52 passes for 720 yards with nine touchdowns.
