Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10k announces road closures
The race will take place on Sunday, May 11, 2025.
The 10km race, starting and finishing on Crescent Road, will wind its way through the heart of Caerphilly, passing landmarks such as the town centre and Caerphilly Castle.
Alongside the main event, a 2k race is also planned, with around 800 runners expected to take part.
To ensure the safety of all involved, several road closures will be in effect during the event.

Crescent Road will be closed from 6am to 1pm, while Cardiff Road will be closed between 9am and 12pm.
The stretch of road between Bedwas Bridge and Van Road will be fully closed from 9.30am to 12pm.
Further closures include Piccadilly Square between 9am and 10.15am, Pontygwindy Road from 9.30am to 10.45am, and the eastbound side of the road between Pwllypant roundabout and Bedwas Bridge from 9am to 11.30am.
Access between Lansbury Park and Mornington Meadows will be maintained throughout the day.
However, residents are advised to seek alternative parking arrangements due to parking restrictions on Van Road and Pontygwindy Road.
Bus routes and times may be affected by the closures.
Participants and spectators are encouraged to plan accordingly to ensure they are able to arrive in time.
Cones will be placed along the route on Saturday evening to alert residents and motorists of the impending closures.
The organisers have thanked the residents of Caerphilly for their understanding and cooperation during this event.
