Victim of Belton fatal motorcycle crash identified

Belton, Tx (FOX 44) – Belton police say the victim of a Saturday fatal motorcycle crash has been identified as 25-year-old Fitim Nela of Killeen. Police say Nela was killed in a crash about 10:55 a.m. Saturday on FM 439 near Lake Park Road. Officers said the crash occurred as a group of motorcycle riders traveling together were eastbound on FM 439. Police said Neta lost control of his motorcycle and struck the front of a Buick Sedan. He was pronounced dead at the scene. FM 439, also known as Lake Road, was closed until shortly before 4:00 p.m. as the investigation was conducted. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. The Belton Police Department is asking the public to use an alternative route. The road is anticipated to be reopened by 4pm today. The crash remains under investigation. Jacksonville woman dies after being hit by car at apartment complex

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — On Thursday night around 10 p.m., members of the Jacksonville Police Department responded to a collision in the parking lot of Charleston Place Apartments. The initial investigation shows 25-year-old Sage Simmons was driving a 2014 Ford Focus in reverse in the parking lot when they hit 23-year-old Jaide Simmons. A parked and unoccupied Buick Sedan was also hit. Jaide Simmons was transported by EMS to a local hospital where she died. The Jacksonville Police Department is currently investigating the crash.
