Viral Video: Bull strolls into UP hospital, feasts on papers, staff nowhere in sight
A bizarre scene from a hospital in Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich has set social media abuzz. In the video, a bull casually strolls into the Outpatient Department (OPD) and makes itself at home in the doctor's room.
The clip, filmed at a Primary Health Centre in the district, captures the animal walking straight up to the doctor's chair, munching on papers from the desk. The hospital seems empty, with no staff around. The person behind the camera used the footage to highlight the sorry state of the healthcare system, where even cattle can wander unchecked.
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav also posted the video on X, adding a Hindi caption that loosely translates to: 'The Chief Minister reached Chaupaya for a surprise inspection of the Health Fair, but the doctor hadn't even arrived. Someone asked, 'Bhaiya, when will the doctor come?' The reply was, 'Looks like the doctor will only come when the government changes.''

Despite the uproar, the district health department has stayed quiet. The chief medical officer of Bahraich, reportedly aware of the incident, has neither addressed it publicly nor taken any visible action against the staff.
The episode has fueled online outrage, with users calling it a glaring example of negligence and lack of accountability. 'After Digital India, now Digital Doctor, a new era,' one person wrote. Another user said, 'Wow, I had a blast watching the video. It's been a while since I heard Bull News.'
It's not an isolated case either. Earlier this month in Bareilly, two bulls locked horns near a hospital, smashing a tea stall in seconds.
