Save the date: Butterfly Festival to return Sept. 6 to Arboretum
The 10th annual Butterfly Festival, sponsored by the University of Tennessee Arboretum Society, is coming Sept. 6.
The UT Insect Zoo and two butterfly tents will be set up at the Arboretum Auditorium and surrounding grounds at 901 S. Illinois Ave. in Oak Ridge. Other activities will include kids' fun, educational speakers, local artisans, food trucks and dulcimer music.
The event starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m., according to a news release.
Co-sponsored by the UT Forest Resources Research and Education Center, the event is designed for children and adults of all ages.
