Boots Launched A Beauty Box Worth Over £100 For Just £40 – And It's Amazing

Boots is a force to be reckoned with. It boasts the very best of beauty all under one roof, it's making skin health more accessible, and it curates the kind of beauty boxes you'll want to discuss in the girls' group chat. Whether it's dropping a new Love Island staples edit, a box that encourages us to Make More Room For Beauty, or an assortment of blockbuster beauty buys, the high street juggernaut knows the picks that make beauty buffs tick. While many of the brand's previous offerings functioned as the perfect accompaniment to getting you party-ready, Boots' newest box takes a more low-fi approach. Enter: The Indulgent Self Care Edit, £40, which really is as good as it sounds. Allowing for a moment of respite, the pamper box is everything you need to soak up the slow moments. Packed with 10 brilliant soothers (seven of which are full size by the way), the edit brings the spa experience home with rejuvenating, feel-good products primed to put you at ease. Spanning luxury labels such as Shiseido and industry shakers like Byoma, the box brings together an array of skin, body and hair essentials to help cover all the bases for pure self-care. Beauty writer Sameeha Shaikh using the Boots Pamper Beauty Box Worth £156.34, the edit is on offer for just £40, meaning you could save an impressive £116.34. One happy shopper has already reviewed the box saying, 'Amazing box, pretty much full sized everything except the little sample sized sun cream with a claw clip and pair of luxury eye masks thrown in. This box is well thought out and put together with a lovely selection of products perfect for pampering. There are no duds as with some boxes and the price is very good value. Really happy with this.' They're not exaggerating. After the trying the box myself, I can confirm it doesn't disappoint. I was impressed to find full size bottles of Byoma's Body Smoothing Body Serum and Sundae's Orange Crush Whipped Shower Foam, which together amplified my everything shower, as well as Liz Earle's cult Skin Repair™ Light Cream and a Shiseido Vital Perfection Uplifting and Firming Express Eye Mask, which perked up my complexion in minutes, not that I was counting them... One thing to note about Boots' stellar beauty boxes? Once they're gone, they're gone, so heed my warning and run, don't walk. Major retailer launches £30 skincare box with £113 of trending products including Lumene and Byoma

SKINCARE fans have been racing to pick up Boots' new beauty box that has been branded as "incredible value". The £30 set includes £113 worth of products, with skincare favourites from Byoma, Beauty of Joseon and The Inkey List. Beauty boxes are a great way to try out new products or stock up on favourites, and the Boots Fresh Faced Skincare Set has everything needed for a routine refresh. Six out of the nine products inside are full-size, including Lumene's Glow Boost Essence, which is worth £34 (more than the entire beauty box) when purchased separately. Beauty of Joseon is the Korean beauty brand that's been all over social media lately, and shoppers will receive its popular Matte Sun Stick. There are three cleansers inside the new beauty box, including The Inkey List's popular Oat Cleanser and Cetaphil's Gentle Skin Cleanser. E.l.f's Holy Hydration Cleansing Balm is also inside (worth £11), and the cleanser has racked up thousands of five-star ratings on the Boots website. 1 The solid balm melts away make-up while hydrating the skin, with a formula made up of hyaluronic acid, ceramides and peptides. Byoma's Brightening Serum Pixi's Vitamin C Serum (worth £26). The products also come with a stylish checked print washbag that's ideal for storing away beauty essentials. The £30 set only has a few reviews currently, all of which are five-star. One shopper wrote: "This set is excellent value for money if you want to try some new brands and level up your skincare routine, and the bag itself is very good quality, plus it would make an excellent gift." Another added: "The bag included is very good quality that will last years and I got lots of products for a great price. I bought this for myself to try some new products but it would also make an excellent gift." Shoppers caused mass sell-outs on the Boots website earlier in the month after the retailer launched its Luxury Haircare Beauty Box. Featuring £219 worth of products for £45, the haircare edit didn't stay in stock for long. Lookfantastic also released a new beauty box recently, and the Trending Beauty Box comes with nine viral favourites worth £110 for £40.

The sound quality is not something I can really speak to, as I am not an audiophile. However, I purchased these as a last-ditch effort to get a good night's sleep. The proof is in the full night's sleep. I am sold. It masked my partner's snoring and the TV being blasted. It couldn't fully mask my dog's barking. I would say about 80%. If you need noise-canceling, get these." —Lena B"I spent a lot of time researching the best headphones and finally chose the Bose QuietComfort Ultra. I'm so glad I did — they're perfect in every way!" —OliviaPrice: $399.99 (originally $429.99; available in five colors)

‘My boyfriend and I both use this £15 non-greasy Boots face SPF on holiday'

Looking for an excellent value facial sun cream that the whole family will like using? I think I've found it with this new £14.99 launch, with it proving popular with both males and females Whether you're on holiday or not, you should be wearing SPF on your face every day, but it's not always easy to find a nice formula that doesn't feel too heavy or greasy – and that men, who perhaps typically aren't used to using as many skincare products on their faces as women, like the feel of too. However, here's one that recently got the thumbs up from both me and my boyfriend. On a recent short holiday to Italy, where the temperatures reached around 22°C every day, we decided to streamline our suitcase by bringing just one facial sunscreen for us both to use, and the one we chose was BYOMA's new Ultralight Face Fluid SPF 50, which costs £14.99 from Boots. Here's why it was such a hit for use both... First up – and useful to know if you're thinking of packing it on holiday – the 50ml bottle is super slim yet easy to squeeze (shake it up first), meaning it'll take up hardly any space in your toiletries bag. It's super high factor too – SPF 50 and broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection – meaning you're defending your skin from the sun's harmful rays as much as possible. It also contains hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and something called 'cera-sun techonology', which helps to calm redness from sun exposure. It's also fragrance-free and non-comedogenic, meaning it won't block pores. What we both loved most about it, though, was, despite this high factor, it looks and feels weightless, leaving skin feeling moisturised yet not at all greasy. There's also no white cast whatsoever, which my boyfriend especially appreciated, as this can sometimes be more noticeable in beards. Boots shoppers have been loving it too, awarding it an impressive 4.6 stars out of five from dozens of reviews. "I've highly enjoyed using this SPF!" one person wrote. "It has a really great applicator which means I can apply straight to the face and not onto my palm first. I also find it doesn't leave a white cast on my Indian skin, and it absorbs nicely without leaving me feeling greasy." "I am very happy with this. I have quite oily, reactive skin, and sunscreen often makes me break out. This one does not," another review reads. "I find it works best if I apply it on top of the Byoma gel cream moisturizer, my skin does not seem to like it if I use the sunscreen instead of moisturiser. Leaves a healthy glow without looking or feeling too greasy." A third agreed: "This is fab, the texture is lovely, it's easily absorbed with great coverage. I'm taking this on holiday as its a great size for me to keep in my handbag." One shopper, however, found that it pilled a bit under make-up, writing that "it doesn't absorb very well in my skin and kind of flakes off (like the texture you get if you rub off glue from your skin). Definitely isn't suitable for under make-up. Very disappointing as I love all the other Byoma products I have but will not be repurchasing this one." One other user, however, suggested that it's a good idea to wait five minutes after applying it before putting make-up over the top. Here at The Mirror we've few a few other face SPFs that have also impressed us recently. I'm obsessed with Ultra Violette Future Fluid SPF 50+ Superlight Mineral Skinscreen, £38, (probably not one for guys though, as it does give a slight skin-evening effect), while our senior shopping writer Faith has been putting Holly Willoughby's go-to tinted SPF to the test.
