VMPL New Delhi [India], July 7: Seven out of ten CFOs in India are Chartered Accountants. CA jobs have grown 103% year-on-year, outpacing overall finance roles. Yet, despite their demand and influence, CAs rarely receive the public recognition they deserve. It sparked a flurry of reactions, memes, and shared stories, with the internet embracing the campaign's witty yet insightful take. The conversation was further amplified by some of the most influential voices in the CA community--CA Sarthak Ahuja (1M+ reach), CA Isha Jaiswal, and Finance with Sumit--who shared content around the evolving role of CAs, salary trends, and in-demand skills. Their posts reflected a strong sense of identity and pride, with high engagement and wide community participation. Adding a personal touch, Naukri sent curated hampers to over 200 registered CAs. Each box included an indoor plant, custom coffee mug, quirky stress ball, themed coasters, a luggage tag, highlighter, and a personalized CA Day note. Recipients shared pictures across their networks, proudly flaunting the custom LinkedIn badge #ProudCA, which quickly gained traction. "CAs are essential to business, but they're rarely in the spotlight," said Sumeet Singh, Group CMO, Infoedge. "We wanted to celebrate them with more than just a social media post. The idea was to combine humour, insight and a bit of surprise, and to give the community a moment they could truly call their own." New Delhi [India], July 2 (ANI): The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the world's largest accounting body, celebrated its 77th Chartered Accountants Day on July 1. On this occasion, a grand celebration was organised at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The celebration was inaugurated by Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, as the Chief Guest in the presence of CA Charanjot Singh Nanda, President ICAI and CA. Prasanna Kumar D, Vice President, ICAI. Also present were Central and Regional Council Members of ICAI; CA Jai Kumar Batra, Secretary, ICAI and a galaxy of Past Presidents. During the inaugural address, Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas, highlighted, ' 'Today, we celebrate not just the legacy of an institution, your 77th anniversary, but we celebrate here the spirit of integrity, diligence and nation building that defines this great profession. On the occasion of CA Day, ICAI launched the 'ICAI AI Agent' -- a next-generation, AI-powered digital workspace designed for its employees, with plans to extend it to members and students in the next phase.
