CBH Engineering wins RM172mil data centre substation job in Selangor

KUALA LUMPUR: CBH Engineering Holding Bhd has bagged a RM172 million contract to build a consumer substation's electrical supply system for a proposed data centre in Selangor. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said its unit CBH Engineering Sdn Bhd secured the contract from an unnamed client. The project will span 14 months, commencing on July 11 and scheduled for completion by Sept 10, 2026. "The scope of works comprises supplying, erecting, installing, testing and commissioning all substation equipment and associated civil works for the electrical supply system," CBH Engineering said. CBH Engineering provides mechanical and engineering services, including maintenance of electrical systems across various voltage levels, as well as mechanical systems such as air conditioning, fire protection and plumbing.
