'They hate playing in front of these people, and they'd just rather get away from all of that and go play. Go play defense and figure out a way to win on the road. There's something to be said about that. When you go on the road, it's you and your teammates. That's it.' The Knicks will have the home crowd rallying behind in them in a do-or-die Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals for them. The Pacers have two-time All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton, who's been clutch in closing moments throughout the series. Elon Musk Exits Trump Administration After Publicly Dissenting ‘Massive' Spending Bill
Elon Musk shared Wednesday that he is exiting his leadership role in the Trump administration. The Tesla CEO and X owner's social media announcement came one day after he publicly dissented President Donald Trump's 'massive' spending bill in an interview with 'CBS Sunday Morning.' However, as the head of the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), the tech mogul had always intended to stay in the role for a maximum 130 days, and his announcement indicated that his exit was pre-planned. 'As my scheduled time as a Special Government Employee comes to an end, I would like to thank President @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful spending,' Musk wrote. 'The @DOGE mission will only strengthen over time as it becomes a way of life throughout the government.' The tech billionaire's departure comes just one day after a segment from his 'CBS Sunday Mornings' interview was teased Tuesday. Musk said he was 'disappointed' by legislation Trump presented that included a mix of tax cuts and increased immigration enforcement. Some Republican lawmakers shared Musk's concerns about the bill, including Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson and Speaker Mike Johnson. When asked by reporters about Musk's criticisms of the bill, Trump did not respond directly but instead defended the bill, while acknowledging that he did not love every aspect of it. Since Musk joined the Trump administration, Tesla's sales have taken a hit. The stock has plunged more than 50% from its most recent high in December. The Tesla founder said the electronic vehicle company will take priority moving forward. Musk was designated a 'special government employee' by Trump to run DOGE, which allowed him to work his government job for a total of 130 days each year. Out of the 128 days that have passed since Trump's inauguration, Musk admitted that he 'probably did spend a bit too much time on politics' instead of his other ventures — SpaceX, Tesla and X — in an interview with Ars Technia. The tech mogul and richest man in the world donated $288 million to the Trump campaign in the lead up to the 2024 election, according to The Washington Post. He has said that he will be spending less on political campaigns moving forward. Bill Belichick explains why Jordon Hudson is ‘terrific' before cutting off personal questions on ‘GMA'
Bill Belichick is happy to have his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, supporting him in his first season as North Carolina's head football coach. During an interview with 'Good Morning America' on Friday, Belichick told Michael Strahan that Hudson has been 'terrific' and explained her role in his professional life, which doesn't involve UNC football. 'She's been terrific through the whole process, and she's been really helpful to me,' Belichick said when asked about the attention their relationship has received. 'She does the business things that don't relate to North Carolina that come up in my life, so I can concentrate football and that's really what I want to do.' Advertisement Belichick, who appeared on 'GMA' to promote his new book, 'The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football,' which was released May 6, mentioned that he included Hudson in it. He referred to Hudson as his 'idea mill' and 'creative muse.' Advertisement 'I acknowledge her in the book, she was very helpful on that with the tribute pages and also giving a perspective of the book from kind of the business side,' Belichick said. 'Sometimes I get a little football technical, and so she did a good job of keeping that balance there.' Bill Belchick during his interview on 'Good Morning America' with Michael Strahan on May 16, 2025. X When asked what does Jordon mean to you, Belichick said, 'We have a personal relationship. You know I'm not talking about personal relationships, Michael, you know that.' 'Are you happy?' Strahan asked. Advertisement 'Yeah,' Belichick said with a smile. The coach laughed when Strahan mentioned his viral Instagram photo with Hudson that showed the couple doing yoga poses on the beach. It was his second televised interview in which he explained that his professional life and personal life are two separate things after his disastrous 'CBS Sunday Mornings' interview. During a Tuesday appearance on 'SportsCenter,' Belichick said Hudson has nothing to do with the UNC football program. Advertisement Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson in 2024. Instagram/Bill Belichick 'That's really off to the side, it's a personal relationship,' he told ESPN while at the ACC Spring Meetings. 'She doesn't have anything to do with UNC football.' Belichick told ESPN he discussed the situation surrounding his personal life with his team and that it won't be a distraction. 'I talked to the players when we meet with them,' Belichick said. 'We want to make the players the best they can be and giving them the best opportunity on and off the field.' That day, UNC athletic director Bubba Cunningham avoided any mention of Hudson while discussing Belichick's role as head football coach amid potential distractions in the program. 'Bill's been great to work with,' Cunningham said. 'He talked about practicing like a pro and he runs a professional organization that is teaching students how to be professional in all aspects of their life. He is a very determined, professional individual, and that's the way he carries himself and the way he conducts the program.' Belichick and Hudson have been under a microscope after Hudson interrupted Belichick's CBS interview when the former NFL coach was asked about how the couple met. They went public with their romance last year.

'Bill's been great to work with,' Cunningham said. Bill Belichick has ‘got to get ahold of himself' with Jordon Hudson — ex-NFL insider Pete King rips ‘embarrassing' situation
Peter King covered Bill Belichick throughout his NFL career, watching him rise from a whiz Giants assistant to arguably the greatest NFL coach of all-time with the Patriots. Seeing the notoriously cagey Belichick now becoming involved in all this drama connected to his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson, especially with her recent much-scrutinized role in his disastrous 'CBS Sunday Morning' interview, has shocked the retired NFL insider — and left him quite critical of the North Carolina coach. 'This is a guy who owned every room he ever walked into and now he's got a 24-year-old muse telling him what to do or trying to control situations that quite frankly she has nothing to do with or should have nothing to do with,' King said on the 'Sports Media with Richard Deitsch' podcast published Thursday. 'Bill's got to get a hold of himself here. He's got to get a hold of this situation. This is embarrassing. It's totally embarrassing for a guy who's as great at his job as he is.' 5 Hudson off to the side during the 'CBS Sunday Mornings' interview. CBS Belichick and Hudson's relationship has become one of the biggest storylines in all of sports, especially after her interference in his recent interview to discuss his upcoming book. Hudson interrupted interviewer Tony Dokoupil after he asked how they first met, saying that would not be discussed, and the segment labeled her as a 'constant presence' in their interview. Belichick later accused CBS of 'selective editing' and defended Hudson's role in the interview. 'This would've been a 'Mike and the Mad Dog' spectacular back in the old days,' King said of the drama. 5 Peter King in an Instagram post from 2022. @ Page Six also reported that Hudson 'forced' her way into the Dunkin' Donuts commercial featuring Belichick and Ben Affleck, among others. Reports have emerged stating North Carolina is 'concerned,' while some in Belichick's camp told The Post that they see the former collegiate cheerleader as a 'runaway train.' Former Patriots offensive lineman Ted Johnson said North Carolina should consider firing Belichick, his daughter-in-law criticized Hudson and even friend Charles Barkley said he's a 'little concerned.' 5 Hudson with Belichick during his infamous CBS interview. CBS It's all a stark contrast to the Belichick which King and others chronicled during his NFL days. King and Belichick no longer had a relationship as of two years ago, with the two falling apart following the SpyGate controversy that rocked the NFL world. 'That's the cost of doing business sometimes,' King told The Athletic in 2023. 'He's one of the greatest coaches of all time. I'm not sure I put him above Paul Brown, but he's right up there with the greatest to ever coach in any sport. But I think what he did in 2007 was wrong.' 5 Belichick and Hudson in February 2025. Getty Images King also ripped Belichick for conducting the interview, meant to publicize his upcoming book, 'The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football', while wearing a ripped sweatshirt. '(He) goes on Sunday morning television with a sweatshirt on with a hole in it,' King said, 'but then why … a couple days after this, why does TMZ have him walking out of the Ritz-Carlton hotel, I think in New York, in a perfectly tailored blue suit. Why? Where is he going? And why is he on a national TV show looking like he's going to a press conference in Foxborough on no sleep.' 5 Belichick did not dress up for the interview. CBS King believes Belichick looked like an 'idiot' and did not convince viewers to buy his book, although he did offer praise for the contents. 'That was a terrible look in the first place, but in general if you're going to be promoting a book, or you're going to be doing interviews, you can't the sullen, disinterested person that Bill Belichick was for CBS,' King said of Belichick's roughly eight-minute interview. 'You just shouldn't do it then. Why do it? Anyone who watched that piece, anyone. For me, if I'm watching that, 'I'm not buying that idiot's book. Why would I buy this guy? I hate this guy.' That is going to be the impression I get. 'Now, I think there's a lot of good of stuff in the book.'
