Woman charged with manslaughter after man dies in fight in US Irish bar

A woman who pushed a man off a stool at an Irish pub into US was heard saying, "good" when she was told he was dead, it has been claimed.
Maria M Connelly (41) turned herself into the Syracuse Police Department said on Monday, accompanied by her attorney.
She has been charged with manslaughter in the second degree in connection to the death of Lawrence Baker (68) at Guilfoil's Irish Pub on Burnet Avenue.

A CID Homicide Unit investigation that determined that Baker and Connelly had got into a fight at the bar interviewed numerous people and identified Connelly as the suspect.
It has been reported that Syracuse Police Officers arrived at Guilfoil's Irish Pub on May 31 at around 12.30am following reports that a man had fallen out of his chair.
He was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
It has been claimed that Connelly who is currently being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center pending arraignment was leaving the bar when she pushed Baker twice, causing him to fall off the barstool.
The complaint said both pushes were "completely unprovoked".
Connelly then kicked Baker when he was on the ground, the complaint alleged and was heard saying, "good" when she was told that he may be dead.
