June 17 South Africa (Kenilworth) form analysis
Race 1 (1,000m) (3) PENNYS CHOICE ran a lovely race behind Inside Voice on debut. She caught the eye to stay on beautifully for fourth. She would have improved and will go close. (1) NEBULOUS was very slow out the gates on debut, made up solid ground late to finish over two lengths off the winner. She is expected to improve heaps from that. (8) WHATASTAR has been very disappointing in her last two runs. Back from a two-month break. If she settles early, she will have a say. (6) SWIFT SERENITY showed good speed early on debut, but was one-paced very late in the race. With natural improvement, she can run a place at a big price. Race 2 (1,200m) (1) CHANCE ENCOUNTER was terribly green early on debut, but finished like a train to run third to In A Timely Manner. He has come on and will be very hard to beat. (8) BUGLE BOY stayed on nicely for fourth last start. Improving. Include him into all bets. (2) MAN OF CONSEQUENCE finished fifth on debut, only two lengths behind Chance Encounter. He will be doing good work late. (12) DIOGENES was only beaten just under five lengths on debut. He should make massive improvement from his first run. Race 3 (1,400m) (4) CAPE CAPTAIN stayed on nicely for second behind Sweet Conifer on May 21. She has a good draw and no weight on her back. (1) BOUNDLESS LOVE steps up in trip again to 1,400m. He will jump from the perfect barrier for this open maiden event. (8) SUPERHERO ran a nice third behind Vapour Trail on May 21. He is still improving. If he can beat the tricky draw, he will have a good winning chance. (7) JOUEUR DE FLUTE will have champion jockey Richard Fourie up. Not without a chance on his best form. Race 4 (1,400m) (2) INDUSTRIALSTRENGTH comes back to the races from a rest and gelding. His last run behind Boogiefied on March 16 was very good. If he is fit enough, he will be very hard to beat from a good draw. (10) BOOGIEFIED won really well last time. He was given four points for that victory, he absolutely loves this distance of 1,400m, and should run a huge race again. Include him into all bets. (5) PILOT FLAME moved up like a winner in her last start when she ran fourth behind Champagne Kisses on May 21. The step-up in trip to 1,400m will definitely help her chances. (8) DEVIL A SAINT never really runs a bad race. If he can get some luck in running from a tricky draw, he could sneak into the places. Race 5 (1,600m) (3) MIDWAY ran a great race behind English Mistress last time. His last three runs have been very good. He should get the run of the race from a good draw. There is no doubt he will go very close to winning. (8) MELA STRENGTH ran a terrific race from a wide draw on May 25. He was switched off early, and then flew home to run third behind Happy Verse. The blinkers stay on, and he steps up in trip to 1,600m. He should go close. (12) COSMIC RHYTHM made up solid ground late behind English Mistress on May 25. He can be a tricky ride. If the race works out for him, he will be flying at them late. Watch him closely. (5) ISCHYRO finally gets a decent draw. He should be just off the speed early, and he will be doing some good work late. He must have a good place chance in this field. Race 6 (1,600m) (5) KATSU has been rested for 62 days, after he ran an absolute cracker behind Song To The Moon on April 16. His form is very good and he will be hard to beat. (1) BEL CANTO DREAM ran well behind Pinot Grigio on May 6. Blinkers stay on, the apprentice takes off 2.5kg, and he gets a perfect draw. Should run a huge race. (7) TENPENNY ran a much better race last time when third. He can certainly trouble them all in the finish. (6) CAPTAIN WEST ran a decent race behind Air Raid over 1,400m last time. If he stays the 1,600m trip, he has a winning chance. Race 7 (2,200m) (5) SANSA STARK quickened up in devastating fashion to win a great race on May 13. If she can repeat that performance again, she will be very hard to beat. (1) BATON ROUGE has run two good races in succession, he stays well, Fourie sticks with him and he gets the perfect draw. He should run a massive race. (6) TWICE THE MASTER finds it difficult to win, but he tries hard and he stays well. On his best form, he will be among the places. (3) BEER WITH THE BOYS has been consistent throughout his career. If he sees out the 2,200m, he could sneak into the places. Race 8 (1,000m) (2) COUNTRY TIME is racing off a dangerous rating of 53. She likes to be held up early, and then comes with a strong finish very late. She will go close to winning. (3) WINTERONTHEGREEN ran a great second behind Golden Ideal on April 16 despite being slow out the gates. She ran on strongly. If she does not need the run, she will test these. (4) CHAMPAGNE MAC never runs a bad race. He is very consistent at this level, and the apprentice takes off 2.5kg. Include into all bets. (6) ROSA OSIRIA will need to improve quite a bit to win. Jockey Gavin Lerena has been booked to ride. She might be able to sneak into the quartet at best. Race 9 (1,000m) (10) THE US OF A ran fourth, beaten just under two lengths by the winner, but he is much better than that performance. If he can bounce back to his best form, he will be hard to beat. (1) FLYING FINLEY led them from start to finish to win a super race on May 25. With a similar performance again, he could be hard to fetch. Include him into all bets. (4) BLUFF ON BLUFF is as honest as they come. He ran a cracker behind Flying Finley last time. He was just off the speed early, and then powered home to run second. He tries really hard, and will be right there in the finish again. (9) COUNTER ATTACK might be able to sneak into the places on his best form.

May 6 South Africa (Kenilworth) form analysis
Race 1 (1,000m) (2) THREE TIGERS was slightly slow out of the machine but still managed to storm home for fourth behind Gimmeathrill on debut. He can improve tremendously from that performance and should go very close to winning. (3) CHURCHILLIAN has run some very nice races in competitive fields. He should find this race easier and has a good winning chance on form. (5) GOLD GIBOSKI was terribly green in the running, but stayed on strongly late to finish just over two lengths behind the winner on debut. Must be respected. (8) THE ROARING ROCK might have a place chance at best. Race 2 (1,400m) (8) SIGNOR DANTE was very green early but stayed on strongly to finish just under four lengths behind Green Planet on debut. He should love the step-up to 1,400m. This is not a strong race, and with further improvement to come from him, he should go very close to winning. (5) DRICUS was a touch disappointing last time. The drop in trip should help his chances, watch him closely. (9) OCEAN SKY has run two lovely races in succession. If he can get some luck in the running from a wide draw, he should be right there in the finish. (10) FATHER CHRISTMAS ran a much better race last time. He could sneak into the places from a wide draw. Race 3 (1,400m) (1) WILD APPLAUSE rattled home late to finish just ½ length behind the winner Angel's Oasis last time. Jockey Muzi Yeni sticks with her from a good draw. If she can build on that, she will go very close to winning. (3) LOUI'S STAR had no luck in running from a wide draw last time. She gets a good draw, and Andrew Fortune has been booked to ride. Watch for major improvement. (2) SWEET CONIFER has some fair form. From a good draw, she must be respected. (10) SUPREME FATE has been rested for 111 days. If she does not need the run badly, she could trouble them all in the finish. Race 4 (1,600m) (1) WATER DRAGON stayed on well to run fifth behind Chasingtherainbow last time. From a good draw, he should get the dream run in transit. (2) UNICORN ALERT was very disappointing in his last start, but he is racing off a dangerous rating and can easily win a race like this on his best form. (8) TWO A PENNY has been rested for 146 days. If she does not need the run badly, she will be competitive. (6) LANDOFTHERISINGSUN won his maiden impressively last time. The yard thinks highly of him and while the big weight is a burden, he has ability. Watch him. Race 5 (1,600m) (1) PINOT GRIGIO finished powerfully for third in his last start. He drops back in trip to 1,600m and he gets barrier 1. Ashton Arries knows him well and he can go very close to winning. (9) MAJOR MASTER needed his last run badly over 1,200m last time. He should be storming home late from a wide draw. (3) DIAMOND ROCK ran a fair race last time. He should love the drop back in trip to 1,600m. From a good draw, he must be included in all bets. (2) FUTURE TURN is consistent and should be in the money again. Race 6 (1,600m) (4) COSMIC RHYTHM was drawn poorly but made good ground in the straight to finish just over two lengths in fifth. If he can build on that last run, he will have a massive winning chance. (8) WEHAVEASITUATION won well last time. She likes to race just off the speed early and come with a strong finish late. (1) BEER WITH THE BOYS never runs a bad race. He is in excellent form and his last run was superb. He will be right there again. (2) MIDWAY ran a much better race in his last start. He is now racing off a competitive rating of 61. From a good draw, he must be respected.0 Race 7 (1,400m) (10) BEACH QUEEN was drawn poorly in a big field but caught the eye late to finish second behind Lady Look Alike last time. She will be very hard to beat. (1) DREAM SEARCHER has been rested for 69 days. Craig Bantam knows her well, and she really enjoys this trip of 1,400m. She has a good place chance from a good draw. (7) SAINT BRIGID stayed on strongly for fourth last time. She will be ridden for some cover early before doing her best work late. Include her in the play. (3) HANG OUT THE STARS ran a much better race last time, when she was beaten just over four lengths by the winner. If she can back that performance up, she could sneak into the places. Race 8 (1,400m) (5) LET IT BE SAID ran a superb second in the Grade 3 Variety Club Mile last time. He was a bit strong early in the race, but finished off nicely to be second behind the very talented Garrix. He should love the drop in trip to 1,400m. Richard Fourie knows him well, he will be hard to beat on his best form. (1) GALLIC DREAM loves this trip of 1,400m. From a good draw, he should be very competitive again. (4) SUGAR MOUNTAIN never got into the race over 1,200m last time. Ignore that run as he should improve now that he steps up in trip. (3) SILVER FALCON came from a long way back in the Grade 3 Champagne Stakes last time. He stayed on well to finish fourth behind some talented sprinters. If he can build on that, he could have a place chance from a good draw.
