Police investigate suspicious package near railway in Ahuntsic-Cartierville

Montreal police are investigating a suspicious package in a wooded area near a CP rail track in the city's Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough.
Police received a 911 call at around 11:30 a.m. and responded to an area near the intersection of Mcduff and Hamon streets.
Some nearby residents were evacuated as a precautionary measure and rail traffic has been suspended on the track.
The tactical team was called in as the investigation continues.
