Lima Memorial receives echocardiography recognition
Apr. 30—LIMA — Lima Memorial Health System received the Silver Milestone Recognition from the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission after achieving accreditation for more than 25 years, according to a press release. This achievement demonstrates Lima Memorial's long-term commitment to continuously improving patient outcomes and safety with echocardiography. Every three years, accredited facilities like Lima Memorial undergo an application and review process to re-earn accreditation, according to the press release. "Reaching the Silver Milestone for 25 years of service is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the consistent, high-quality care and safety our patients and their families can count on," said Brian Scheid, director of cardiopulmonary services, in a press release. Finish Line leaves Lima Mall
Mar. 7—LIMA — Finish Line, a retail chain that sells shoes, clothing, accessories and fan gear is leaving the Lima Mall, 2400 Elida Road. "Thank you for shopping with us throughout the years," said one typed note at the front of the store. According to another typed note, the store did not specify when or where they will be relocated. The note also clarifies Finish Line is not going out of business. The JD Sports/Finish Line corporate office in Indianapolis, Ind., was called to discuss the matter, but had closed at 3 p.m. Friday. Kohan Retail Investment Group, Lima Mall owner, did not respond to a phone call to discuss the situation Friday afternoon. Finish Line is owned by the England-based JD Sports.
