French Artist Sarilou Launches ‘Coeur Eternel' Party at CJC May 29th
The party features a lineup of regional and local female artists like Marcelina, Sareena, Contrasté and Femaledjkhaled. May 27, 2025 French alt-pop singer and producer Sarilou is set to launch her femme-fatale party concept, 'Coeur Eternel', at Cairo Jazz Club on Thursday, May 29th. Transforming the iconic Agouza club into her own 'eternal heart' world, Sarilou's party will feature a series of fun immersive installations, live performances, and DJ sets from a roster of regional and local female artists. Featured on the lineup is Lebanese artist Marcelina, who will be making her Egypt debut. Sarilou will be performing her newly-released EP 'Eyes Wide Open', along with a selection of her earliest tracks and some unreleased gems. Based in Paris, Sarilou has built up a reputation as one of the most promising talents in Europe for her volatile, cyberpunk and fairy-like sound, blending industrial textures with high-pitched vocals, reminiscent of global icons like SOPHIE and Cocteau Twins. The lineup will also feature Cairo's selector Sareena, Contrasté, with Femaledjkhaled –one-third of the IASC trio–on closing duties. Doors open at 8 PM. Cairo Jazz Club Announces Somabay Eid Experience ‘LUMEN' June 7th-8th
The two-day experience will be headlined by Oscar and the Wolf and Klangphonics. May 18, 2025 With summer now in full swing, Cairo Jazz Club has announced a two-day seaside experience, 'LUMEN' in Somabay, Red Sea, taking place over the Eid Al Adha weekend, on June 7th June 8th. On June 7th, CJC will kick off the festivities with an all-nighter party at Mesca Beach, headlined by the renowned Belgian producer and one-man band Oscar and the Wolf. He will be joined by Germany's viral live-electronic trio Klangphonics, who will be making their Egypt debut at the event. The party will also feature some of Cairo's finest talents, including Dirty Backseat, Wolf Fang Midi and Zeft Funk as supporting acts. On day two, June 8th, there will be a free daytime beach party at Babboo's, starting at 2 PM. Sudanese Breakout Rapper Walgz Set for Explosive Dubai Debut at The Fridge with 'The Shutdown'
Rising Sudanese rapper Walgz is bringing his signature energy and Sudanese trap sound to Dubai for the first time, headlining a one-night-only show titled 'The Shutdown', a limited-capacity event crafted for an intimate, high-intensity experience. The show takes place on Saturday, May 3rd at The Fridge, Alserkal Avenue. Known for viral hits like 'Sasa' and 'Hollanda', Walgz has become one of the most talked-about artists in the region, with recent appearances at MDLBEAST's Soundstorm Festival in Saudi Arabia and Cairo Jazz Club in Egypt. Joining him on stage is Fodi (aka Tmsa7), a multi-talented Sudanese artist and producer who's quickly gaining regional recognition for his fusion of trap, afrobeat, and Sudanese influences. Fodi will deliver a unique double performance — live renditions of his original tracks, alongside a debut DJ set featuring Afro House and electronic beats.

Apr 23, 2025 Fresh off the release of their brand new album 'Wedyan', Lebanese indie rock outfit Adonis is set to take the stage at Cairo Jazz Club 610 on April 30th as part of their 2025 world tour. Over the past decade, Adonis has been a pioneering force at the forefront of reshaping the Levantine alternative scene, seamlessly fusing elements of rock with dance-pop aesthetics and oriental instrumentation. Their latest offering, 'Wedyan'—marking their seventh studio album—sees the band venture beyond their comfort zone and signature sound, exploring a new terrain of baroque pop and alternative R&B, drawing inspiration from the Arabic pop wave of the 2000s.
