Aldi drops 'divine' new lip balms similar to iconic £23 brand for under £4
Aldi's latest Lacura beauty buy has already been crowned the standout of its latest summer line-up. It's very rare that a new Aldi beauty buy goes unnoticed. Not only do they offer high quality on a budget, but they often mimic high-end brands. With lip balms being a viral summer must-have at the moment, it should come as no surprise that the budget supermarket has jumped on the latest beauty trend with a trio that is similar to an iconic brand - but at over £19 cheaper. The German discounter's newly launched Lacura Lip Butter Balms, priced at £3.49 each, are said to boast a "buttery smooth" and "nourishing" formula, with three flavours available to choose from - Cake Pop, Dulce De Leche and Vanilla. Boasting a high-shine formula, they have been infused with a blend of hydrating ingredients Shea Butter & Murumuru Seed Butter for a softer, smoother looking pout. Even though they are a recent addition, they have already bowled over the supermarket's newly created Beauty Club, a panel of shoppers turned beauty insiders, who crowned the balms the standout product from the new summer line. To entice beauty fans even more, many have confirmed that they are borderline identical to the iconic Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balms that cost £23, making Aldi's 'dupe' £19.50 less expensive. It's not the only beauty trend Aldi has jumped on recently, as it also dipped its toes into K-beauty with its brand new £4.99 Watermelon Serums that are 84 percent cheaper than beloved brand Glow Recipe. For the beauty buffs who want to get that contoured appearance, there is also the brand new Lacura Sculpting Bronzing Stick, £4.49, that is available in shades 'light' and 'medium' offering a creamy texture that "blends like an absolute dream." However, it's the lip saviours that seem to have caught the eye of many devoted fans, as many of them said they were "obsessed" and "need them all" after they were shared on Aldi's Instagram account. The full caption read: "Safe to say we're OBSESSED. Will you be picking up Vanilla, Cake Pop or Dulce De Leche? Lacura Lip Balm £3.49 in store now!" As is the case with all Lacura Specialbuys, they were instantly popular as one shopper gushed: "Got all 3 today! Love an Aldi dupe." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! While a second rushed to say: "These are amazing definitely the star of the show!!!" Another devoted shopper said: "Got all 3 they smell & feel divineee." And someone else simply wrote: "Obsessed." The £3.49 Lacura Lip Butter Balm Trio is available to buy in Aldi stores nationwide now. Remember, as is the case with all Specialbuys, once they are gone, they are gone, and stock can differ in each store.
