Monmouthshire Council sends congratulations to pupils on results day

A council spokesman said: "Monmouthshire County Council wishes to congratulate all the learners and thank all the staff in our schools and the families who have supported them throughout the years." The schools are Caldicot School, Chepstow School, King Henry VIII, and Monmouth Comprehensive. Cllr Laura Wright, the council's cabinet member for education, said: 'For many students, this will mark the end of their education at their school. Those receiving their AS-levels will now look forward. 'We wish everyone all the best on whichever onward path you have chosen to pursue. 'We also celebrate the dedication of all our teachers across the county. Their work has meant that our learners were able to prepare themselves to take the next steps in their lives." A variety of options open to young people once they have left full-time education has been pulled together by The Results Campaign, delivered by Working Wales. The resources offer young people and their families practical advice, encouragement, and guidance. Free mental health support is also available through NHS Wales SilverCloud, offering flexible, evidence-based online programmes to help young people manage stress, anxiety, and low mood.
