Former Wiltshire Police officer Callum Denley, 20, from Malmesbury, appeared at Swindon Crown Court on 2 May. The offences included category A images, the most serious abuse material, police said. Denley, who was suspended as soon as the force became aware of the charges and has since resigned, was also ordered to do 40 days of rehabilitation activities and was put on the sex offenders' register for 10 years.

Police officer charged with making indecent images
An man has been criminally charged in connection with indecent images of children while he was an officer with Wiltshire Police. Callum Denley, 20, from Malmesbury, Wiltshire, resigned and Tuesday was his last official day as an officer, although Wiltshire Police suspended him when the force "became aware of the matters". The five charges include making indecent images of children which range in severity, possession of an extreme pornographic image and possession of a prohibited image of a child.
