Police officer charged with making indecent images
An man has been criminally charged in connection with indecent images of children while he was an officer with Wiltshire Police.
Callum Denley, 20, from Malmesbury, Wiltshire, resigned and Tuesday was his last official day as an officer, although Wiltshire Police suspended him when the force "became aware of the matters".
The five charges include making indecent images of children which range in severity, possession of an extreme pornographic image and possession of a prohibited image of a child.
Mr Denley is due to appear in court on 3 April.

After he was accused of sexual assault and drug abuse by multiple people, the Newsboys singer spoke out on the allegations, which the accusers said took place between 2004 and 2014. "Recent reports of my reckless and destructive behavior, including drug and alcohol abuse and sexual activity are sadly, largely true," Tait wrote in a statement shared to his Instagram June 10. "For some two decades I used and abused cocaine, consumed far too much alcohol, and, at times, touched men in an unwanted sensual way." The four-time Grammy winner went on to say that he's taking full responsibility for the incidents described in the reports, which were first published by Christian media outlet The Roys Report on June 4. "I am ashamed of my life choices and actions, and make no excuses for them," Tait continued. "I will simply call it what God calls it—sin. I don't blame anyone or anything but myself. For one, he stepped away from Newsboys in January, leaving behind remaining members Jody Davis, Duncan Phillips, Jeff Frankenstein and Adam Agee. "I did so to get help," Tait said of quitting the Christian rock group. "I was not healthy, physically or spiritually, and was tired of leading a double life. I spent six weeks at a treatment center in Utah, receiving help that may have saved my life from ultimate destruction." And while the former DC Talk frontman said he's been "clean and sober since," he admitted that he still has "lots of hard work" ahead of him, and he said he'll forever live with the shame of "living two distinctly different lives." As Tait put it, "I have hurt so many people in so many ways, and I will live with that shameful reality the rest of my life. I can only dream and pray for human forgiveness, because I certainly don't deserve it." "I have even accepted the thought that God may be the only One who ultimately and completely forgives me," he continued. "Still, I want to say I'm sorry to everyone I have hurt. I am truly sorry." Less than a week before Tait's confession, The Roys Report published a report accusing Tait of sexual assault and drug abuse that was sourced by over 50 people, three of whom were men who said they experienced his nonconsensual sexual advances when they were in their early 20s. Since the report's release, Tait's Newsboy bandmates have also spoken out on the allegations. Alex Cooper's alma mater responds after she accuses college soccer coach of sexual harassment
Days after Alex Cooper accused her former college soccer coach of sexual harassment, Boston University has responded. The host of the popular 'Call Her Daddy' podcast, who made the allegations in a two-part Hulu documentary that premiered Tuesday after screening Sunday at the Tribeca Film Festival, played Division I soccer at the university for three years, during which time Cooper claims coach Nancy Feldman made inappropriate comments about her body and sex life, engaged in controlling behavior and touched her thigh. 'Nancy Feldman was someone I trusted. Someone I believed in. Someone who was supposed to help me grow. Someone who was supposed to protect me,' Cooper wrote Thursday on Instagram. 'But instead she made my life a living hell and abused her power over me.' In the same post, Cooper said she reported the abuse to athletic director Drew Marrochello, who she said ignored her complaints. The university addressed the allegations in a statement obtained Thursday by People and other news outlets. 'Boston University has a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment. We have a robust system of resources, support and staff dedicated to student wellbeing and a thorough reporting process through our Equal Opportunity Office,' the statement reads. 'We encourage members of our community to report any concerns, and we remain committed to fostering a safe and secure campus environment for all.' While Cooper's documentary began as a way to show behind-the-scenes footage of her 2023 Unwell Tour, a visit to Boston University — specifically the soccer field — brought her emotions back to the surface, she said in Tuesday's brief episode of 'Call Her Daddy' titled 'My College Soccer Trauma.' 'The minute I stepped on that field, I felt so small,' Cooper said. 'I felt like I was 18 years old again, completely powerless, with no voice.' Cooper said 'everything changed' when she discovered that other women had alleged similar experiences with Feldman. She decided that she needed to speak out after talking to one of the women. 'If a woman in my position, who has power and a platform, is still fearful, is still scared of speaking out about my own lived experience of sexual harassment, how the hell will any other woman feel safe and confident to come forward?' Cooper asked in the episode. Since 'Call Her Alex' premiered, TikTok user @sizzlinghotsarah shared her own experience with Feldman, alleging that the soccer coach harassed her for her sexuality. Actor Scott Wolf's wife seemingly detained by cops live on Instagram amid split
The estranged wife of actor Scott Wolf was seemingly detained by law enforcement during an Instagram livestream, during which she can be heard scolding officers and alleging she was abused. The clip, which appeared on Kelley Wolf's social media profile early Friday, starts out with a black screen with only audio, and it remains that way until nearly the end, when she can be standing alongside a pair of police officers. It comes just three days after she revealed that she and her 'Party of Five' star husband were headed for divorce after 21 years. 'Oh my God. Don't,' a voice, seemingly Kelley's, can be heard saying in the clip. 'Oh my God, this is not happening.' The mother of the three goes on tell responding officers she'd leave with them on her own, but her offer is still followed by what sounds like handcuffs clicking closed. 'This is shameful, gentlemen,' she tells them. 'Look at this, look at this woman, this is shameful. Be ashamed, be ashamed of yourselves, gentlemen.' One of the officers then informs Kelley that she's 'not going to jail,' but rather to get 'some help.' He notes that she had 'made some comments to your dad and comments to people that are concerning,' and that they 'want to make sure you're okay.' 'I didn't mean to,' Kelley said, asking the police if she should turn off her camera. 'I think Scott Wolf is abusing me, and now you are abusing me more.' Shortly after posting the video, Kelley shared an image to her Instagram feed covered in chunks of text, including one that reads: 'This is horrible. I have been taken against my will. Please check on my kids.' Another said: 'Also… I am happy!! Happier than I have ever been.' She also noted that she'd been 'compliant, calm and respectful' adding that she hoped 'this is all sorted very quickly. 'In the meantime, be kind to each other,' she concluded. 'This is one of the darkest things I've ever experienced.'
