#SHOWBIZ: TV3, Alternate Records celebrate Raya with Dapur Panas Digital
KUALA LUMPUR: TV3 and Alternate Records marked Hari Raya with a special edition of cookery show Dapur Panas Digital at Balai Berita today.
The event was attended by the management of Media Prima, Pepper Labs, the Dapur Panas Digital team and artistes under Alternate Records.
The artistes who entertained guests with their popular songs included Calpis Soda One In A Million singers Marygrace, Kai Deva, Mariam Saim and Zazzleen Zulkifli Zain, as well as Ameerais, Suara, Zizi Safira and Wanie Ooi.
Other Media Prima celebrities who participated in the event included Mior Malek Raiyani, Amirulhakim Lokman, Fariha Onn, Fiza Sabjahan, Fatin Hamimah, Rena Hazrena, Fahmi Izzudin and Asrulnizam Kadir.
The main attraction was a demonstration of teh tarik preparation by Dapur Digital Kerinchi participant, Masri Md Husin.
Special dishes presented by the Dapur Digital Kerinchi team featured tomato rice, curry noodles, carbonara rolls, caramel pudding, jelly syrup, bandung syrup and teh tarik.
This event marked the close of the Dapur Panas Digital campaign, a social initiative by TV3 and Pepper Labs.
The programme aims to empower women from the B40 community, especially entrepreneurs from People's Housing Projects (PPR), by giving them the opportunity to do business throughout Ramadan.
PPR entrepreneurs were given space to run their businesses at the Ramadan Bazaars around Kuala Lumpur.
The bazaars were at Kampung Baru (Jalan Raja Uda), Bangsar Baru (Jalan Telawi), and Section 1 Wangsa Maju.
Throughout Ramadan, Media Prima celebrities such as Fiza Sabjahan, Rena Hazrena, Fatin Hamimah, Nurin Ramzyn, Fariha Onn and Nabilah Wazer paid special visits to the bazaars.
