Emergency crews raced to the A862 near Beauly, in the Highlands, on Saturday, May 17 at around 11am. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up The alarm was raised following a collision between a black Mazda CX5 car and two Yamaha MT07 motorcycles at the junction with the A833. One of the bikers, Gilbert Duncan, died at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Tuesday, May 20. The 67-year-old was from the Avoch area in the Highlands. His family has asked for their privacy to be respected. The driver of the car and the other biker were uninjured. A 47-year-old man was arrested in connection with alleged road traffic offences and released pending further enquiries. Sergeant Calum MacAulay said: 'Our thoughts are with Gilbert's family and friends at this difficult time, and we have officers supporting them. 'Enquiries are ongoing and we are continuing to appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash, who has not already spoken to police, to contact us. A motorcyclist who died after being involved in a crash with another motorcycle and a car near Beauly has been named. The crash took place on the A862 road near its junction with the A833 at 11am on May 17. It involved a black Mazda CX5 car and two Yamaha MT07 motorcycles.
