Virginia and Oklahoma State will battle it out Wednesday for the right to be called national champions. Oklahoma State advances Eric Lee buries a par putt on the extra hole, and he sends Oklahoma State to the national championship match on Wednesday against Virginia. What. A. Match. Final match going extra holes Eric Lee missed an eagle putt to win the match for Oklahoma State, and the Pokes and Ole Miss are going extra holes after a pair of bogeys. The par-3 16th up first. Preston Stout takes down NCAA individual champion Oklahoma State gets the first point of the second afternoon match, after Preston Stout takes down Michael La Sasso 5 and 4. Of the remaining four matches, OSU is up in one, Ole Miss leads two and the fourth is tied. Ben James sends Virginia to championship match Ben James nearly holes out from a greenside bunker, but the birdie is good enough on 18 for a 1-up win over Luke Poulter, and Virginia has a chance to win a national title on Wednesday. The Cavaliers, the ACC champs, move to 5-0 in match play this season. Josh Duangmanee gets Virginia's second point The Cavaliers are one win away from advancing to Wednesday's championship match. Virginia up early on Florida The Cavaliers are making their third straight appearance in match play, but this year is the first time they've advanced to the semifinals. Early on in the match against Florida, Virginia is 1 up in three matches, with Ben James, Paul Chang and Maxi Puregger all taking an early advantage. Ole Miss takes out No. 1 Arizona State OK, this isn't a semifinal, but Ole Miss topped Arizona State 3-2 after Tom Fischer beat Michael Mjaaseth in 21 holes, tied for the longest match in NCAA Men's Golf Championship history.
