EXCLUSIVE Former MTV star and actress looks unrecognizable during a rare outing in LA... can YOU guess who it is?

A former MTV star and actress looked nearly unrecognizable while enjoying a rare solo outing in Los Angeles this week. For her Wednesday stroll, she kept it casual and donned a pair of light gray leggings as well as a black jacket that was zipped up at the front. The TV star additionally opted for a dark navy shirt underneath and slipped into a pair of comfy sneakers to complete the low-key ensemble. The Hollywood celebrity is known for her comedic chops and has worked alongside a number of A-listers over the years, such as Jim Carrey. She famously appeared in the 1988 cult classic Earth Girls Are Easy and has also been involved in Disney Channel projects including Camp Rock. Can you guess who she is? From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The star is none other than Julie Brown, 66. Julie was born in August 1958 and was raised in the city of Van Nuys, California. The star later attended Los Angeles Valley College before enrolling at the American Conservatory Theater located in San Francisco. She began her long-lasting career in the industry in the early 80s by making small appearances in shows such as Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley. In 1988, Brown starred in the cult classic Earth Girls Are Easy by taking on the role of Candy. Other celebrities that were cast in the movie included Geena Davis, Jeff Goldblum, Jim Carrey and Damon Wayans. The premise is: 'A young Southern California woman, who has just caught her fiancé cheating on her, befriends three humanoid aliens after their spaceship lands in her swimming pool,' per an IMDB synopsis. The film was based on Brown's songs from her 1984 EP titled Goddess In Progress - but bombed at the box office upon its release. However, Earth Girls Are Easy was later adapted into stage performances - with one starring Kristen Chenoweth - but never became an official production. 'And, you know, it was kind of horrible. I mean, yeah, it was horrible,' she admitted to the publication, referencing to the film's flop at the box office. 'I loved seeing the movie become something. I did love that. I mean, that's probably my all-time favorite thing, to write something and have it get produced and manifested and be something, you know what I mean? That's the best.' From 1989 through 1992, Brown also starred on the MTV comedy/music video show Just Say Julie - which she created. In 1995, the actress also starred in Clueless alongside Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd, Brittany Murphy and Stacey Dash. In the film, she portrayed the role of Ms. Stoeger - a gym teacher - and later played Coach Millie Deemer in the 90s series based on the movie. Other projects Brown has made appearances in include Murphy Brown, Family Affair, The Middle, Melissa & Joey, Paradise Falls and Six Feet Under. Julie has also been involved with the Disney channel and appeared in one episode of the hit series Wizards Of Waverly Place. She also notably co-wrote Camp Rock (2008) while also taking on the role of Dee La Duke in the TV movie. The film - which also starred The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato - was followed by a sequel in 2010. While talking to Smashing Interviews Magazine back in 2010, she reflected on the development of Camp Rock. 'My brother and I wrote the first four scripts. When we finished the first one (Camp Rock), they said, "Oh, the Jonas Brothers are going to be in it." I said, "Who?" But I did realize they were great.' She added, 'We actually had to change the name of the script when we were shooting in Canada because some girls up there were trying to find them. So shooting was insane. 'I played the camp counselor in the first one. Disney wanted to change the story for Camp Rock 2 and my character wasn't in it, but I still got credit for being the creator.' Julie's last credit on IMDB is the television movie titled Craft Me A Romance (2023). During her interview with Socialite Life, Brown stated that her biggest 'accomplishments' thus far was both her son and her career. 'And I think having a career that I kind of made up myself. That's the other thing I'm really happy about – because I didn't even really think about it that much until the last couple of years, and I realized I've been really lucky to get to do all these things. Julie added, 'I didn't think of it like that because I was just trying to do the next thing. But I think that's an accomplishment. 'I wanted to do these things and I got to make a lot of them happen,' she further expressed. The star is also active on social media and will occasionally upload selfies of herself onto her main Instagram page while also promoting shows to her followers.

Joe Jonas Sets the Record Straight on Whether He Inspired Aly & AJ's ‘Potential Breakup Song'

Joe Jonas and Aly & AJ are squashing all potential of 'Potential Breakup Song' being about the DNCE frontman, with the trio reuniting in a hilarious TikTok posted Tuesday (May 20). In the clip on Jonas' account, he mimes talking on the phone while singing the lyrics to the 2007 hit. 'It took too long, it took too long, it took too long for you to call back,' he says before the camera pans over to the Michalka sisters, who do the same with the next lines of the song: 'And normally I would just forget that/ Except for the fact it was my birthday.' In his caption, the Camp Rock alum wrote, 'Ok but I'd never do that on your birthday @Aly and AJ.' In the replies, Aly & AJ replied, 'And yet they STILL think it's about you.' The stars' comments refer to a yearslong theory that 'Potential Breakup Song' was written about Jonas, whom AJ dated when they were teenagers. In fact, the sisters revealed in a 2020 interview with Business Insider that the track was never 'connected to any particular person.' 'We were just like, 'Let's write a break up song,'' AJ said at the time. 'We weren't thinking it was going to be a breakup anthem, but it kind of became that, which is really cool.' Aly & AJ first met the JoBros when both groups were working with Disney, with the former starring in Disney Channel's Cow Belles and the latter — which also features Joe's brothers, Nick and Kevin — led two Camp Rock movies and a series titled Jonas on the network. On Call Her Daddy in January, AJ reflected on dating Joe for a year and a half, revealing that their first kiss was in a bowling alley. 'It was so innocent,' she said at the time. 'It was sweet.' Nick Jonas Was Worried About ‘Messing Up' in Front of Girlfriend Priyanka Chopra During Dating Era; Know Why

Nick Jonas is all about his lady love, and this is not a new phenomenon. The singer and actor appeared on the Live Kelly and Mark show, hosted by his dear friends Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos and talked about dating days with Priyanka Chopra. On the hot heels of his Last Five Years Broadway shows, the singer recalled being 'nervous' to mess up in front of his then-girlfriend. Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra 's love story is like none other. Sharing an anecdote from when they were in the early stages of their relationship, Kelly Ripa spoke about when he brought her over for dinner at her house. She funnily regarded the moment being equal to those of them being his parents, with how nervous they were. Husband Mark Consuelos added that they didn't wanna 'mess up' to which she agreed, that they didn't wanna 'screw up'. The singer was quick to retort, 'By the way, I didn't wanna mess up either', showing his dedication towards their relationship and wanting things to end positively. His response earned a fit of laughter from the crowd and the hosts, who affirmed his thought. They further expressed disbelief over their kids 'not acting themselves, and acting perfect' instead. Finally, the Camp Rock star shared how it was a unique experience for everyone, and was happy how 'it all worked out'. Everything has really gone the right way for the famed couple who got married in 2018 after dating for just over a year and have since welcomed their first child, daughter Malti Marie, in January 2022 via surrogacy. The couple keeps moving in and out of New York, while also dipping their toes in India, managing their busy singing and acting schedules. The Jonas Brothers member revealed how they try hard to maintain some family time amid all the chaos, as their daughter begins nursery school and takes on multiple classes like karate.
