She began her long-lasting career in the industry in the early 80s by making small appearances in shows such as Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley.
In 1988, Brown starred in the cult classic Earth Girls Are Easy by taking on the role of Candy.
Other celebrities that were cast in the movie included Geena Davis, Jeff Goldblum, Jim Carrey and Damon Wayans.
The premise is: 'A young Southern California woman, who has just caught her fiancé cheating on her, befriends three humanoid aliens after their spaceship lands in her swimming pool,' per an IMDB synopsis.

However, Earth Girls Are Easy was later adapted into stage performances - with one starring Kristen Chenoweth - but never became an official production.

During a past interview with Socialite Life, the actress recalled pitching the project and had been told she could not play the lead role of Valerie due to not being a 'big enough star.'
'And, you know, it was kind of horrible. I mean, yeah, it was horrible,' she admitted to the publication, referencing to the film's flop at the box office.
'I loved seeing the movie become something. I did love that. I mean, that's probably my all-time favorite thing, to write something and have it get produced and manifested and be something, you know what I mean? That's the best.'
From 1989 through 1992, Brown also starred on the MTV comedy/music video show Just Say Julie - which she created.
In 1995, the actress also starred in Clueless alongside Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd, Brittany Murphy and Stacey Dash.
In the film, she portrayed the role of Ms. Stoeger - a gym teacher - and later played Coach Millie Deemer in the 90s series based on the movie.
Other projects Brown has made appearances in include Murphy Brown, Family Affair, The Middle, Melissa & Joey, Paradise Falls and Six Feet Under.
Julie has also been involved with the Disney channel and appeared in one episode of the hit series Wizards Of Waverly Place.
She also notably co-wrote Camp Rock (2008) while also taking on the role of Dee La Duke in the TV movie.
The film - which also starred The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato - was followed by a sequel in 2010.
While talking to Smashing Interviews Magazine back in 2010, she reflected on the development of Camp Rock.
'My brother and I wrote the first four scripts. When we finished the first one (Camp Rock), they said, "Oh, the Jonas Brothers are going to be in it." I said, "Who?" But I did realize they were great.'
She added, 'We actually had to change the name of the script when we were shooting in Canada because some girls up there were trying to find them. So shooting was insane.
'I played the camp counselor in the first one. Disney wanted to change the story for Camp Rock 2 and my character wasn't in it, but I still got credit for being the creator.'
Julie's last credit on IMDB is the television movie titled Craft Me A Romance (2023).
During her interview with Socialite Life, Brown stated that her biggest 'accomplishments' thus far was both her son and her career.
'And I think having a career that I kind of made up myself. That's the other thing I'm really happy about – because I didn't even really think about it that much until the last couple of years, and I realized I've been really lucky to get to do all these things.
Julie added, 'I didn't think of it like that because I was just trying to do the next thing. But I think that's an accomplishment.
'I wanted to do these things and I got to make a lot of them happen,' she further expressed.
The star is also active on social media and will occasionally upload selfies of herself onto her main Instagram page while also promoting shows to her followers.

Anne Hathaway makes shock revelation about her name
Ever since she was skyrocketed into the spotlight as a teenager thanks to her role in The Princess Diaries, the world has known her as Anne Hathaway. Fans and media alike have called her Anne for more than two decades, but it turns out, she would prefer that you call her something else. During an appearance on Jimmy Fallon 's The Tonight Show in 2021 - which recently resurfaced - the actress, 42, admitted that she wants to go by 'Annie' rather than 'Anne.' 'Call me Annie, everybody. Everybody, call me Annie, please!' she begged during the virtual interview. 'Can we talk about my name for a second?' she asked the host after he introduced her as Anne. The Academy Award winner explained that the issue with her name stemmed from when she joined the Screen Actors Guild as a teenager. 'When I was 14 years old, I did a commercial, and I had to get my SAG card and they asked me, "What do you want your name to be?"' she recalled. 'And I was like, "Well, it should be my name. My name's Anne Hathaway." But during an appearance on The Tonight Show in 2021 - which recently resurfaced - the actress, 42, admitted that she wants people to call her 'Annie' rather than 'Anne' 'So that seemed like the right choice, but it never occurred to me that for the rest of my life, people [would] call me Anne.' She added that this upset her because the name 'Anne' actually reminded her of her when she would get in trouble as a child. 'The only person who calls me Anne is my mother and she only does it when she's really mad at me, like really mad,' continued the star. 'So, every time I step out in public and someone calls my name, I think they're going to yell at me.' The actress joked: 'People are like, "Anne!" And I'm like, "What? What did I do?"' Hathaway shared that even on movie sets, her co-stars and the crew aren't sure what to call her so they have started to use nicknames. 'On sets, nobody is comfortable calling me Anne ever. It doesn't fit. I'm an Annie,' she detailed. 'And so people call me, like, "Miss H." People call me "Hath." So feel free, call me anything but Anne.' Getting the memo, Fallon referred to the Princess Diaries actress as Annie for the remainder of the virtual interview Getting the memo, Fallon then referred to the Princess Diaries actress as Annie for the remainder of their chat. Hathaway and Fallon went on to talk about her home life as she is the mother of her two sons - now eight-year-old Jonathan and a four-year-old Jack - whom she shares with her husband of 12 years, Adam Shulman. The resurfaced admission about her name comes weeks after Hathaway sparked plastic surgery speculation. While attending the 2025 Met Gala in May, the star she displayed her smooth skin and youthful complexion. People took note of her ageless appearance in the comment section of an interview that Hathaway did with Vogue on the carpet - and many wondered if she had work done to her face. 'Whoa she really got some obvious work done on her upper face. Maybe brow lift. She's trying to distract/cover up with pulled back hair,' one user posted.

Kristin Chenoweth raises eyebrows declaring her dog 'came out of' her vagina
slammed non-pet parents who claim her dog Thunder 'Pup' Chenoweth isn't her 'baby.' 'When people say, "Oh, it's just your dog," I want to go, "She came out of my vagina. What are you talking about?"' the Wicked star - turning 57 next month - told People on Wednesday. 'I love my dog. Okay?' Kristin - who was adopted when she was five days old - originally adopted the eight-year-old cockapoo mix in January 2017 from Saving Spot Rescue. 'The best day of my life was finding her and rescuing her,' Chenoweth gushed on Instagram October 6. 'The love of my little life!' The self-described 'crazy dog person' waited less than a year to adopt little Thunder following the death of her prior dog, Madeline Kahn Chenoweth. 'When she went to heaven, I was devastated. I literally said, "God, why would you give us these precious angels to take care of and then take them from us after such a brief time?"' Kristin (born Kristi) recalled to the mag. 'And what I keep hearing, the handprint that I keep on my soul, is that they're here to teach you patience and unconditional love.' Chenoweth considers it a 'very big privilege' to live side by side with her precious fur-baby. 'Why get a dog unless you want unconditional love?' the Emmy winner wondered. 'I think I have several feelings, and some of them are a little spiritual in nature when I talk about it, but dog is God spelled backwards.' Kristin memorably dressed her female canine companion in a pink faux fur Christian Cowan ensemble for the red carpet of the Astra TV Awards in LA last year. 'I swear, Thunder can look me in the eyes, she's got human eyes, and she'll be like, "Mommy, it's okay,"' Chenoweth said. 'I don't know what it is. She's seen me in my worst and my best, and I'm so glad she can't talk because then I'd be in real trouble.' The other love of the triple-threat Tony winner's life is her husband of 21 months - guitarist Josh Bryant - whom she met in 2016 when she hired his band Backroad Anthem to perform at her niece's wedding reception. Last week, Deadline reported that Kristin was cast as junior college cheerleading coach Tammy Istiny in Jeff Astrof and Liz Astrof's single-camera mockumentary comedy pilot Stumble for NBC. The other love of Chenoweth's life is her husband of 21 months - guitarist Josh Bryant (L) - whom she met in 2016 when she hired his band Backroad Anthem to perform at her niece's wedding reception Chenoweth will make her triumphant return to Broadway in Michael Arden's musical The Queen of Versailles, which begins previews October 8 before opening November 9 at the St. James Theatre in Midtown Manhattan. Stephen Schwartz composed the music and Lindsey Ferrentino penned the book for the stage adaptation of Lauren Greenfield's 2012 documentary about socialite Jackie Siegel's quest to live in a $100M mega-mansion. Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham will portray Jackie's late billionaire husband, 'Timeshare King' David Siegel. It's been a full decade since the Oklahoma-born blonde starred in a Broadway musical, having portrayed two roles in On the Twentieth Century. Kristin is also every bit the influencer with paid partnerships for brands like Nom Nom, Olipop, Swarvoski, and Laura Geller Beauty.

EXCLUSIVE Kendall Jenner's 200 calorie breakfast is 'packed with healthy fats that keep her thin'... after accidentally sharing she's a size 2
Kendall Jenner is one of the highest-paid supermodels in the world due in part to her killer figure. And now the 29-year-old leggy wonder from Calabasas has revealed the very low calorie breakfast she eats to stay so thin. The reality TV star shared a picture of her healthy morning meal to Instagram on Wednesday. 'The whole plate is about 200 calories,' functional nutritionist Monica Partier tells as she broke down what the ingredients were. 'It's full of healthy fats that help keep her thin. 'The meal consists of fresh berries like raspberries, strawberries and blackberries that have fiber and vitamins in them. She added Matcha green tea powder, which is an antioxidant and contains vitamin C, chromium, magnesium, selenium and zinc,' added Partier. 'There also a few small nuts which contain healthy fats, and a splash of Greek yogurt which is high in calcium and protein, and supports gut health, and also is a healthy fat.' On the side was a Golden Milk Latte - a nutrient-rich turmeric coffee beverage that gives the drink its famous golden color - and bowls of oatmeal as she dined on a wood table. 'Turmeric is rich in phytonutrients that may protect the body by neutralizing free radicals and also has anti-inflammatory properties,' added Partier. Jenner, who stands at 5ft11in, accidentally revealed on her Kardashian Kloset page that she is a size two as she was forced to list the sizes of her old clothing. She has used her hot body to land a contract with Italian swimwear brand Calzedonia. Jenner looked her very best in a shoot last year by a swimming pool from photographer Cameron Hammond. 'Across the full collection, shoppers can discover bikini tops and bottoms in a range of styles, including triangle, balconette, Brazilian, and full coverage, as well as swimsuits,' a press release shared. 'Other lines which are part of the Limited Edition collection include: the Black Crystals and White Pearls sub-collections.' The older sister of Kylie Jenner was modeling the summer line for Calzedonia, an Italian fashion group founded in Verona by Sandro Veronesi in 1986, with over 5,000 shops worldwide as of 2021. The company called Jenner their 'summer muse' as she made the most of the suit they described as 'shiny satin.' The cover girl was seen near the ocean as she wore her light brown hair down over her bare shoulders. And in two photos, she had on no top as she used her hand to cover her chest slightly. In 2023 Kendall insisted that she wants a traditional marriage and three kids, though she admitted she's not ready to settle in an episode of The Kardashians. While her mother Kris kept not so subtly hinting that she wants Kendall to have a kid, the supermodel insisted that she has 'got this.' Kris tells Kendall that she had a dream about her having a baby, as Kendall asks, 'With who?' 'It wasn't clear who it was with, it was just you had a baby,' Kris says, asking if she'll ever want to have a baby one day. 'Of course. Three max. I'm cool with two, though. I just want my kid to for sure have a sibling, I know that,' Kendall says to Kris. Kris adds in confession, 'I know we're all different, but me personally, I would love to see Kendall have a baby, and she'd be such a good mommy.' Kendall responds in confession, 'I swear I got this, and I will give you a grandkid when the time is right and when it all makes sense perfectly.' Kendall shared, 'I just think about my life and the freedom that I have right now and like the ease in just picking up and going somewhere, I just like that right now.' She clarified that after having a baby 'Your whole life changes. But I'm also like not gonna do it with just anybody.' She says she wants a wedding and adds, 'I'm traditional in that sense.'
