Man, 39, killed in crash near Campbellton, N.B.: RCMP
A 39-year-old man has died following a collision in northern New Brunswick.
RCMP said officers were called Friday around 10:30 p.m. to a single vehicle collision on Highway 275 near Saint-Arthur. The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle at the time, was rushed to hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
Police said the crash is believed to have happened when the driver lost control and entered the ditch.
Members of the Campbellton Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick also attended the scene. A member of the coroner's office and a collision reconstructionist are also assisting in the investigation.
RCMP said an autopsy will be conducted to determine the man's exact cause of death.
Saint-Arthur is approximately 25 kilometres southwest of Campbellton.
