After 15 Years of Proven Performance, Leading Italian Food Producer, Recla SPA, Upgrades to Capstone Green Energy's Latest C1000S Microturbine System

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Capstone Green Energy Holdings, Inc. (the "Company' or 'Capstone') (OTCID: CGEH) and Capstone Green Energy, LLC, announced that IBT Connecting Energies, Capstone's distributor for Italy, has secured another order from Recla SPA, a world-renowned producer of gourmet meat products. Recla has been a long-time Capstone microturbine customer, having originally installed a C1000R microturbine in 2010, which has reliably provided clean and efficient on-site power for over 15 years. The new project will replace the legacy system with a Capstone C1000 Signature Series microturbine. This reinforces Recla's continued commitment to clean energy savings utilizing Capstone's oil-free air bearing and low-emissions combustion technology, all whilst delivering high-grade waste heat that is recycled into useful thermal energy for Recla's operations. Their decision to upgrade to the C1000S system is grounded in tangible business benefits, including more than €350,000 in annual energy savings, lower emissions, and consistently reliable performance. Share The new Capstone C1000S will continue to provide on-site combined heat and power (CHP), delivering both electricity and saturated steam to the facility's daily process needs. By upgrading to the latest generation Signature series, Recla is not only improving system efficiency and reliability but also lowering its environmental impact in alignment with broader corporate sustainability goals. 'Recla SPA's decision to modernize their on-site power system reinforces our vision to be the premier provider of distributed energy and microgrid solutions,' said Vince Canino, President and CEO of Capstone Green Energy. 'It also supports our mission to be the first choice when energy matters. This order is a clear example of how we turn customers into long-term partners.' Canino continued, 'Recla SPA continues to recognize the value that Capstone's technology and services bring to their operations. It's a testament to the durability, efficiency, and user-friendly design of our systems, further supported by the strength and responsiveness of our global distributor network. Their decision to upgrade to the C1000S system is grounded in tangible business benefits, including more than €350,000 in annual energy savings, lower emissions, and consistently reliable performance. It reflects the trust they've placed in the Capstone brand over the past fifteen years.' Before the original installation of the Capstone C1000R, the area lacked adequate energy infrastructure, where reliable electrical power was not readily available, often leading to disruptions in factory operations. 'Once the C1000R was installed, Recla no longer suffered from blackouts or power failures,' said Ilario Vigani, CEO of IBT Connecting Energies. 'Beyond reliable performance, the system recovers over 90 percent of the primary energy source, delivering significant energy savings. The proven service and trusted partnership with IBT, and the backing of Capstone, played a key role in Recla's decision to reinvest in Capstone's latest generation technology.' Industrial and food manufacturing facilities across Europe continue to place their trust in Capstone's low-maintenance, low-emission microturbine systems. This latest project underscores the growing demand for distributed energy solutions that enhance operational resilience, lower environmental impact, and help companies meet increasingly stringent sustainability and regulatory standards. Alas Pilipinas falls to unbeaten Iran for first loss in AVC Nations Cup

Alas Pilipinas faltered late against the resilient Iran to absorb its first loss in the 2025 AVC Women's Volleyball Nations Cup, 25-16, 21-25, 26-24, 23-25, 13-15, on Monday at the Dong anh Gymnasium in Vietnam. Enjoying a 2-1 set lead, the Filipinas mounted a huge comeback attempt in the fourth set with Shaina Nitura and Vanie Gandler providing the spark off the bench as they erased an early four-point deficit and turned it into just an 18-19 disadvantage. Nitura's single block on Shagi Hassankhani even tied things up at 22-all before an attack error from Angel Canino saw Iran taking the set point at 24-22. Fatemah Khalil then sent a strong kill to the newly-subbed Julia Coronel to drag the Philippines to a deciding set. Nitura continued to shine for Alas as the reigning UAAP Rookie of the Year fueled a 4-0 run, putting the roof on Masoumeh Masi before hitting one from the left side off a Bella Belen setup to give Alas a crucial 11-9 cushion. The Philippines, however, committed back-to-back errors that allowed Iran to force an 11-all deadlock. A Dell Palomata quick and a much-needed service ace from Gandler then had the Filipinas enjoying a 13-11 lead. But Alas collapsed in the endgame with Zahra Salehi denying Nitura and Canino committing another attack error, paving the way for Iran's match point at 14-13. Zahra put the exclamation by shutting down the opposite attack from Canino as the Iranians remained unbeaten at 3-0. Canino still emerged as the top scorer for the Philippines with 20 points anchored on 17 attacks, two blocks, and one ace while Laure and Palomata chipped in 16 and 10 markers. Alas fell to a 2-1 card and is now at third place in Pool B. They need to beat two powerhouse clubs in New Zealand on Wednesday and Kazakhstan on Thursday to bolster its contention. Only the top two teams in the two pools will advance to the crossover semifinals with the champions clinching a ticket to the 2026 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship. —JMB, GMA Integrated News

Young guns show up as Alas Pilipinas escapes Indonesia for 2-0 start

Youngsters took matters into their own hands to tow Alas Pilipinas Women to a 22-25, 25-23, 25-13, 28-26, to remain unblemished in the 2025 AVC Women's Volleyball Nations Cup on Sunday at the Dong anh Gymnasium in Hanoi, Vietnam. Alyssa Solomon, who was fielded for the first time in the tournament, proved her worth by leading the charge on her 17-point outing anchored on 10 attacks, four blocks, and three aces to help the Filipinas cruise to a 2-0 start in Pool B. The former NU star got ample help from her teammates with fellow youngster Angel Canino and Bella Belen chipping in 15 and 12 markers apiece in the hard-fought win. The Indonesians fell to a 0-2 win-loss card. Alas raced to the first match point when Fifi Sharma unleashed a strong kill from the middle, giving the world no. 50 Philippines a 24-23 lead in the fourth set. But Indonesia staged a comeback attempt with Ersandrina Devega dropping a soft touch on the open side and Canino committing an attack error as the opposing side took their own match point at 25-24. Canino, though, atoned for that mistake by converting two consecutive attacks that allowed a youth-laden Alas to take another match point at 27-26. Shaina Nitura put the punctuation, going for an off-the-block kill to seal it for the nationals. The Filipinas will look to preserve their unbeaten run when they take on world no. 56 Iran on Monday. —JKC, GMA Integrated News
