Cardiff Bus Interchange closes for urgent repairs
A bus station which took nine years to be built has been closed for urgent repairs. Cardiff Transport Interchange was built to replace the bus station which was demolished in 2015 but delays meant it did not open until June for Wales (TfW) said it would be closed while repairs were carried out to the building's internal sprinkler said all services scheduled to run from the station would operate from an alternative location.
On its website, Cardiff Bus said services 92, 93, 94 and 95 would additionally stop at The Philharmonic in Cardiff city centre and service 305 would also stop at Canal Bus said its number 30 service would start and finish at Customhouse Street stop. A notice posted by TfW on X stated the 122/124 Stagecoach service would be stopping at the Esso garage on Cathedral Road and First Bus services X2, 304 and 320 will be stopping at Westgate Street.
