Louth Football League reports – Division 1: Jubilant St Joseph's book final place as St Fechin's and Sean O'Mahony's sweat over top-flight status

A novel Cardinal O'Donnell Cup Final pairing of St Joseph's and St Mochta's has been confirmed for August 9 with one round of league games still remaining following last weekend's results from Division 1A.
The Louth Village side had already secured their place in the decider the week before, while the Joes were clearly in no mood to relinquish their top-two position as they scored three first-half goals on their way to an 18-point victory over St Patrick's on Friday night.
