A Florida middle school teacher allegedly sent a nude image of herself to a 14-year-old student, authorities said. Oliver Fell, 28, who taught at Carlos E. Haile Middle School in Brandenton, is charged with lewd conduct with a student by an authority figure and transmission of harmful material to a minor, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said. Investigators launched a probe in March after the student reported the allegations on March 3 to a school resource deputy that Fell had been allegedly talking with the boy via Snapchat since December 2024. BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — A teacher at a Bradenton middle school was arrested after she was accused of sending a student a nude photo. A Manatee County Sheriff's Office news release said a 14-year-old Carlos E. Haile Middle School student told deputies that he was communicating with a teacher, Oliver Fell, 28, over Snapchat. Fell was accused of sending an explicit photo on January 2. A search of Fell's phone revealed that their messages led to lewd conduct, according to the sheriff's office. She was accused of sending the student a photo of a nude breast. A warrant was issued for her arrest on June 2. She turned herself in and was booked into jail later that night. Fell was charged with lewd contact with a student by an authority figure, a second-degree felony, and transmission of harmful material to a minor, a third-degree felony.
