The Stranger Things star—who plays Jason Carver on the Netflix series—and his longtime love Carmen Joiner are engaged. Indeed, while the pair kept the news of their proposal quiet—Mason popped the question on Valentine's Day—Carmen revealed they plan on saying 'I do' on June 7, 2026 at the Wychmere Beach Club—which was the site of their engagement photos. Making the occasion even more special, they will tie the knot as they mark their fifth anniversary as a couple, and their family and friends will be part of the celebration. "When we started planning the wedding, we knew we wanted a destination in a fun place since our friends and family were from all over the states," Carmen told People in an interview published Aug 7. Stranger Things actor Mason Dye just revealed he secretly got engaged to his girlfriend Carmen Joiner at a lake in their Atlanta, GA neighborhood on Valentine's Day following four years of dating. 'Valentine's Day felt way too obvious, so it completely went over my head,' the bride-to-be recalled to People on Thursday. 'He had the whole evening planned, including fake dinner reservations at one of our favorite restaurants to throw me off. After he proposed, he surprised me with a stay at Chateau Elan in North Georgia, where we celebrated just the two of us and spent the next day at the spa.' Carmen continued: 'When we got home, our family, friends, and our cat Willow were waiting with a party to celebrate! Mason's parents added to the surprise and even drove in from Oklahoma to make everything that much more special.' Joiner and the 31-year-old groom-to-be are scheduled to tie the knot June 7 at the Wychmere Beach Club in Cape Cod, MA after their fifth anniversary. The corporate executive - who works as associate district manager for ADP TotalSource - originally met Mason through a longtime mutual friend, and they went Instagram official (on her page) in 2021.
