John Travolta films in downtown Ocean Springs for his new action movie ‘Cash Out 3'
Downtown Ocean Springs became a movie set Tuesday and those who were nearby got to see John Travolta and the cast of the movie 'Cash Out 3' wandering the familiar sidewalks under the oak trees. Travolta is back in South Mississippi starring in the third 'Cash Out' action-adventure movie. The cast and crew will be in South Mississippi for another two weeks, filming at locations across the Coast. People reported on Facebook seeing the crew filming at a golf course in Gulfport. Travolta posed for a photo while having dinner at The Rack House Steaks & Spirits in downtown Gulfport. Someone on Facebook said he had the crab cake special and a filet. Part of Washington Avenue in Ocean Springs was closed Tuesday morning and Travolta, wearing jeans and a black shirt and hat, was filmed walking with another cast member along the sidewalk from about Moxie Boutique to The Lady May restaurant. It was difficult to tell what was part of the production and which parked cars and people were there as they would be on any other Tuesday. Those hired as extras were dressed as tourists, carrying shopping bags and wearing big hats. They were directed to pass near Travolta as he walked along the street. At times, Travolta — famous for his roles in 'Grease,' 'Saturday Night Fever,' and many other blockbuster movies — stopped to take selfies with some of the background actors along the street. A dozen curious onlookers, gathered to watch near Kilwins, could hear the production staff give directions to the actors and they could see all the computer screens and electronics set up under the cover of an awning at the antique store. The street was barricaded at Government and Porter, but was still accessible for customers at businesses in the closed area. Filming also took place Tuesday near The Roost Boutique Hotel on Porter Avenue.

John Travolta returning to South MS for another Cash Out sequel. Here's where and when
Just three weeks after John Travolta's new movie was released, the action star returns to South Mississippi to film another 'Cash Out' sequel. Cash Out 3 was scheduled to begin filming in Miami on March 31 and move to Biloxi on Saturday, April 5, for a two-week shoot. Filming is expected until April 24, according to Morgan Casting, which is providing supporting actors to appear alongside Travolta in the film. Travolta will again star as master thief Mason Goddard. After an attempted casino heist in the second Cash Out, called 'High Rollers,' he has trouble staying retired and is drawn back into the life of crime in Cash Out 3. 'In this installment of the saga, Mason is drawn into a heist scheme by his not-too-bright brother for an adventure on the high seas,' according to a Facebook post by Morgan Casting. 'High Rollers' filmed at Scarlet Pearl Casino in D'Iberville and other Coast locations in April 2023. It was released March 14, played at the Grand Theater in D'Iberville and can be seen on streaming platforms. Details of the shooting schedule are mostly confidential and those working on the film told the Sun Herald they are unable to comment. But filming will take place at several locations on the Coast. The producers were impressed with the Scarlet Pearl Casino and the Coast. 'We are thrilled to have filming of Cash Out returning to the Mississippi Gulf Coast and Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort to showcase our beautiful area,' said Vicki Haskins, director of casino marketing at Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort. Ocean Springs Aldermen met on Friday to approve the closing of streets in the downtown for the film production on Tuesday. Papers taped to people's property in downtown Ocean Springs last week notified residents Cash Out 3 will be filming from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday at The Roost Boutique Hotel on Porter Avenue. 'You will notice an uptick in traffic by cars, vans and work trucks. All driveways and handicap zones will be respected,' the notice says. Besides the thrill of seeing a movie in production in South Mississippi, it's good for business and the image of South Mississippi and Ocean Springs. 'I just think it's really good for a small town to have big stories,' said Roxy Condrey, owner of The Roost and several other small businesses in Ocean Springs. It's great for the economy of the town, with some of the crew staying in Ocean Springs. It also shines a light on the town and shows people who see the movie the town's charm. 'We already know it's special,' she said. When 'High Rollers' was filming, fans saw Travolta on the casino floor at Scarlet Pearl and filming scenes on the beach and other Coast locations. And Mississippi was listed when the credits rolled. 'It's really great for the area,' said LuAnn Pappas, CEO of Scarlet Pearl. Besides the exposure the films bring to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, the cast and crew were out on the town at restaurants and night spots. Mississippi Film Office helps coordinate the movies that shoot in the state by scouting locations and providing help with casting, extras, crew and equipment. Mississippi has one of the strongest incentive programs in the country with a 25%-35% cash rebate on spend and all payroll, according to the film office website.

John Travolta Joins Lala Kent's Ex Randall Emmett for $1,000 Steak
Remember when was known for playing pickleball and hanging out with the Vanderpump Rules cast? Of course, at the time, he was still together with his ex-fiancée, Lala Kent. And he seemed to enjoy being on camera. So, finding out that Randall was hanging out with made me … confused. Allow me to explain. As you may recall, Lala dumped Randall when he allegedly cheated on her. He was also having financial difficulties. The couple shares one daughter, Ocean Kent. Recently, after an exhausting three-year custody battle, Randall and Lala came to a custody agreement. So how does Randall know John? It turns out that Randall directed John in the film Cash Out, but under a pseudonym. Reportedly, Randall directed the film under the flashy name 'Ives.' Here is where it gets interesting. John went to Papi Steak Miami Beach, which is co-owned by David 'Papi' Einhorn and Dave Grutman, to try a new menu item – the Beefcase. Randall was there, as was rapper Quavo. According to PEOPLE, Randall directed both Quavo and John in the film High Rollers. As you may recall, John starred in the 1994 iconic film Pulp Fiction. In the movie, John played Vincent Vega, who joined Samuel L. Jackson's character, Jules Winnfield, on a quest to find a special briefcase. In one of the most memorable scenes in the movie, Vincent opened a rhinestone-covered briefcase. While the audience couldn't see the contents, Vincent seemed happy enough. So, John popped in to try the new dish, which is an homage to the movie. A huge piece of beef is presented in a gold-plated briefcase. Yum? Plus, John and Dave Einhorn reenacted the legendary scene, with John nodding his head after opening the case and checking out the meat. If you want to live your own Pulp Fiction fantasy, it will cost you. The steak costs a cool $1,000. For that amount of money, I expect John to reenact the scene and recreate the iconic dance scene. And throw in a royale with cheese! Vanderpump Rules is streaming on Peacock. TELL US – WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE 'BEEFCASE?' ARE YOU SURPRISED RANDALL IS WORKING WITH JOHN?
