The Summer I Turned Pretty Cast Compete In Cast Wars
It's not summer without The Summer I Turned Pretty. The highly anticipated final season of Jenny Han's beloved series has arrived, and we are so excited to spend one final summer at Cousins Beach. Based on Han's third book in the trilogy, The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 begins with Belly in a long-term relationship with Jeremiah. As they grow up and their lives start to get more complicated, Belly must decide if Jeremiah really is "the one," or if Conrad still has her heart. The much-discussed love triangle all comes to a head this season as Belly makes her final decision on who she's meant to be with. So to celebrate, we had the cast — Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer, Jackie Chung, and Tom Everett Scott — compete in a friendly game of Cast Wars to see who knows who the absolute best. And let's just say, things got hilariously competitive between the two teams. Like, I'm cackling at how into it Lola got. We tested their knowledge on some of their costars' earliest acting roles, like when Jackie appeared in an episode of Grey's Anatomy or when Gavin appeared in The Vampire Diaries. And we got into the JHU (Jenny Han Universe) when one team had to guess how many letters Lara Jean wrote in To All the Boys I've Loved Before. Plus, since this is TSITP, we had to ask about favorite rom-coms, iconic love triangles, and more. The whole thing was so hilariously chaotic that it's become a comfort video of mine now. Felix Mallard Auditioned For Outer Banks, Phone Call From Harry Styles
It's finally time, peaches! That's right, Ginny & Georgia is back with Season 3, and I've personally been anxiously waiting to binge-watch all of the new episodes. Ginny & Georgia Season 3 picks up after the explosive Season 2 finale cliffhanger, which saw Georgia get arrested for murder shortly after her wedding. Now, the Millers are in the town's spotlight more than they've ever been before. With Georgia navigating her new reality, Ginny is also trying to figure out where she stands, and if it can really still be Ginny and Georgia against the world. To celebrate the return of Ginny & Georgia, we had the cast — Antonia Gentry, Felix Mallard, Brianne Howey, and Sara Waisglass — compete against each other in a game of Cast Wars to see how well they really know each other behind the scenes. And let's just say this cast knows each other super well. Like, I love how much they love each other. Like, the cast revealed that Felix almost starred as John B in Outer Banks before Chase Stokes got the role. But, there were a few surprising facts they revealed that even surprised each other, like how in The Exorcist TV series, Brianne's mom was played by the iconic Geena Davis. Or how Harry Styles called Felix to let him know he booked the role of Cooper on Happy Together, which was a sitcom that was loosely based on Harry's experience living with producer Ben Winston. Sara knowing both the Harry Styles and John B facts just proves she is a true BFF. Felix recalled, "It was a sitcom loosely inspired by a time when [Harry] lived in Ben Winston's attic. And he was signed on as a producer, and I think Ben said, 'Harry, could you just call him and say...'" He said he suddenly got a call from an unknown number, picked up, and it was Harry. Thunderbolts Cast Compete In Cast Trivia
Thunderbolts* has officially arrived, and personally, I am enjoying every single second of this cast and the return to what I love about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thunderbolts* follows Yelena, who suddenly finds herself stuck in a rut and feeling alone and isolated after working for Valentina Allegra de Fontaine for several years. When she ends up fighting alongside Bucky Barnes, John Walker, Ava Starr, Alexei, and a mysterious new guy named Bob, Yelena suddenly finds herself on an unlikely team of heroes. So, to celebrate this new entry into the MCU, BuzzFeed had the cast — Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Lewis Pullman, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, and Geraldine Viswanathan — compete in a game of Cast Wars, aka a trivia game all about each other. And literally nothing about each other was off limits. Like, we started with the cast guessing what Meryl Streep told Florence she desperately wanted while filming a scene for Little Women. The cast had to guess who David's biggest celebrity crush was, and spoiler, he got to work with her every single day on the set of Stranger Things. *cough* Winona Ryder *cough* And we tested their knowledge on one of Julia Louis-Dreyfus's iconic Veep quotes about a croissant because, let's be honest, we all need more Selina Meyer in our lives. And they even learned new things about each other, like the fact that Sebastian starred in Gossip Girl or that Geraldine was gifted a purse by Taylor Swift. Basically, they are my new favorite cast, and I cannot wait to go watch Thunderbolts* again. To celebrate the release of their highly anticipated film Warfare, we invited the cast — Kit Connor, Joseph Quinn, Will Poulter, D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Cosmo Jarvis, and Michael Gandolfini — to compete in a lil' trivia battle we'd like to call Cast Wars. The cast was split up into two teams: team #1 (Cosmo, Will, D'Pharaoh, and Michael) and team #2 (Kit, Joseph, Charles). They took turns answering questions that test their knowledge of each other!
