FIX chocolate is landing at DXB again — here's exactly when

Calling all FIX Chocolate fans: the original Dubai Chocolate bar is coming back to Dubai International Airport. Announced on the FIX Dessert Chocolatier Instagram, the viral bar that's taken over social media across the world is returning to Dubai Duty Free on Friday May 15. If you like this: Where to get the viral FIX chocolate in Dubai Earlier this year, the iconic brand opened its first pop-up at the world's busiest international airport and proved to be so popular that it had to extend its stay at Terminal 3 until the Eid Al Fitr break. And now, ahead of the Eid Al Adha holidays, Dubai's most famous export will be available for tourists once again. Offering residents and tourists a chance to buy a last-minute bar as a souvenir (or to munch on the plane), the exclusive stand is not one to be missed. In a post on Instagram, FIX said: 'When our Dubai Duty Free pop-up wrapped up in April, the DMs rolled in. 'The heartbreak, the love, we felt all of it! So we didn't waste a second. From the moment we closed, we got to work, doing everything we could to bring it back. 'Then the agents suited up. The bars were packed. The mission was clear. We're coming back to Dubai Duty Free on May 15, with a few changes in the mix.' Kitted out with the classic dessert bars, including the world-famous Catch Me If You Pecan, Can't get Knafeh of it and Pick up a Pretzel, the pop-up is a must-visit before boarding — just be ready to join the queue. The popular treat is normally only available at 2pm and 5pm every day on Deliveroo in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, so it's an opportunity to grab a bar in person. Earlier this year, it was revealed that a whopping Dhs1 million is spent on the pistachio-kunfa-filled treat every day at DXB – including knock-offs of the original. In January 2025, DXB was crowned the world's busiest international airport (again), after it recorded 60.2 million seats in 2024. Credit: FIX Choclatiers Looking at data from the entirety of 2024, aviation consultancy OAG looked at the seat and airline capacity for both domestic and international flights for airports around the globe. For further context, DXB's closest challenger for the top spot was London Heathrow which had 48.3 million international seats last year.
