Neven Maguire set to show off DJ skills with a set at Electric Picnic
No, your eyes don't deceive you: the chef Neven Maguire is doing a DJ set at Electric Picnic.
EP is set to take place later this month with tens of thousands of festival goers set to descend on Stradbally Hall at the end of August.
And with new additions to the lineup being announced along with new stages, EP organisers have announced the return of the Theatre of Food stage — with international flavours, cooking demonstrations and cocktail shows. However, the pièce de résistance comes from Cavan-born Neven, with the celeb chef doing both a cooking demo and a live DJ set of his favourite tracks alongside fellow DJ/chef Marcus O'Laoire.
Other chefs that will also be on the main stage of the Theatre of Food include Michelin Star chef JP McMahon, Johnny 'The Hungry Hooker' Murphy, and the Cupcake Bloke Graham Herterich.
A number of cooking exhibitions will take place across the Theatre's three stages, and on Sunday the annual Theatre of Food brunch will take place in support of Irish Cancer Society and Cancer Care West.
