Cayden – The Virtual Artist Reimagining Emotional Pop, Drops Debut Single ‘Esperanza'
LOS ANGELES, Calif., May 29, 2025 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Meet Cayden: not just the future of pop music, but a voice from another world literally. Hailing from a richly imagined parallel universe, Cayden makes his debut on Earth with the release of 'Esperanza,' an emotionally charged single that blends cinematic pop production with an urgent call for compassion, Sixth P Media announced today. Rooted in Latin-inspired melodies and moody, atmospheric soundscapes, 'Esperanza' channels the heartbreak of separation experienced by displaced families. Cayden's vocal performance carries themes of loss, longing, and quiet resilience—inviting listeners into a story that feels both otherworldly and deeply human. But Cayden isn't just here to sing—he's here to spark change. The single anchors a 12-week social impact campaign on TikTok and Instagram, rallying creators, musicians, and nonprofits to amplify stories of survival, hope, and justice. From mass deportations to mental health and climate displacement, the campaign uses storytelling to illuminate shared struggles and inspire collective healing. Hashtags like #CaydenEsperanza and #HumanNotIllegal will serve as digital threads connecting thousands of user-generated stories around hope. More than a virtual performer, Cayden represents a new kind of artist one who crosses dimensions and emotional boundaries alike. His voice, enhanced with advanced technology and grounded in live vocal performances, underscores the project's commitment to emotional authenticity. The result? A character who may be virtual, but whose message is undeniably real. ABOUT THE SONG: 'ESPERANZA' 'Esperanza' – Spanish for hope – is an emotive anthem about separation, survival, and the strength to hold on. From its first haunting note, Cayden's performance channels the heartache of marginalized communities around the world, offering not just recognition, but resonance. A WORD FROM THE CREATORS 'Cayden isn't just about cutting-edge animation,' says co-creator Elizabeth Daro. 'He's an artist who travels between worlds—real and imagined—to give voice to stories that often go unheard. His mission has always been emotional connection.' 'Esperanza' is now streaming on all major platforms. Join the movement. Boozer twins lead Columbus basketball to quarterfinal win at Chipotle Nationals
Cameron and Cayden Boozer have made no secret that a national championship is the missing piece to cap their decorated high school basketball careers. On Thursday night, Columbus' stellar basketball duo helped the Explorers move a step closer to that goal. The Boozer twins each put up big numbers to help Columbus jump out to an early lead and then hang on for a 76-62 victory over Utah's Wasatch Academy in the quarterfinals of the Chipotle Nationals tournament in Fishers, Indiana. The Explorers, who are vying to become the first Miami-Dade County team to finish the season ranked No. 1 nationally, are the top seed in the tournament and advanced to face New Hampshire's Brewster Academy in a semifinal on Friday at 4:30 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN2. Texas' Dynamic Prep and California's Prolific Prep will square off in the other semifinal at 2:30 p.m. and the championship game will be played on Saturday at noon and televised on ESPN. Cameron Boozer finished with 25 points, nine rebounds and seven assists while Cayden totaled 24 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Caleb Gaskins also had 10 points and nine rebounds. The Explorers appeared ready to rout Wasatch Academy to open the second half. After taking a 38-19 advantage into halftime, Columbus scored the first seven points of the third quarter. But the Tigers responded with a 16-2 surge and took advantage of 21 Columbus turnovers to make it a close game down the stretch. Columbus' lead shrunk to 66-60 with 4:19 remaining before the Explorers answered with a 9-0 surge of its own thanks to the Boozers. Cameron, who recently became a two-time Gatorade National Player of the Year, was sharp from the field, shooting 5 for 7 from 3-point range. Cayden was also strong, shooting 9 of 16 from the field including 2 for 4 from 3-point range. The Duke signees each participated in the McDonald's All-American Game earlier this week before they and the Explorers traveled from Brooklyn to Indiana for the Chipotle Nationals event. Columbus' next opponent - Brewster Academy - beat Arizona's CIA Bella Vista on Thursday. Brewster is led by five-star senior small forward Dwayne Aristode, an Arizona signee, and four-star junior power forward Sebastian Wilkins.

As Chipotle Nationals nears, Columbus' Cameron Boozer earns another prestigious accolade
As he and his teammates prepare to pursue a national championship in the coming weeks, Columbus' Cameron Boozer has earned another prestigious accolade. Boozer has been named one of three finalists for the 2024-25 Gatorade National Boys Basketball Player of the Year award. Boozer, who is ranked the No. 2 prospect in the country by 247Sports, Rivals and On3, just led Columbus to its fourth consecutive state championship. He averaged 22.6 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.3 blocks per game this season while leading the Explorers to a 27-3 record and a No. 1 national ranking per MaxPreps. Boozer and his brother, Cayden, who is also a top 25 national recruit, both signed with Duke University. Cameron, who continues to rack up the accolades as he prepares to head to the next level, has a chance to become a two-time winner of this award having already claimed the prize after his sophomore season. Boozer is also a 2025 MaxPreps Preseason First Team All-American and maintains a 3.94 unweighted GPA. Cameron and Cayden will both participate in this year's McDonald's All-American Game in Brooklyn on April 1. In addition to Boozer, the other two finalists are Caleb Wilson, a senior power forward from Atlanta, Georgia who has signed with the University of North Carolina. Wilson is the No. 5 recruit in the class of 2025 per Rivals and a fellow McDonald's All-American and MaxPreps Preseason First Team All-American. The other is Brayden Burries, a senior guard from Eastvale, California, who is ranked No. 9 in the class of 2025 per 247 Sports and is also a McDonald's All-American and MaxPreps Preseason Second Team All-American. NATIONAL TITLE? The Boozer brothers will then try to lead Columbus to a national championship at the Chipotle Nationals tournament April 2-5 in Fishers, Indiana. The Explorers are the top seed among the 10 teams in the bracket and will play their first game on April 3 at 8 p.m. on ESPNU. Columbus will face the winner of the matchup between No. 8 seed Bradenton IMG Academy and No. 9 seed Wasatch Academy of Utah, which will be played April 2 at 8 p.m. If they advance to the semifinals, Columbus would play either No. 4 seed Brewster Academy (New Hampshire) or No. 5 seed CIA Bella Vista (CA) on April 4 at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN2. The championship game is scheduled for April 5 at noon and will be televised on ESPN. The rest of the field consists of No. 2 seed Link Academy (Mo.), No. 3 seed Long Island Lutheran (NY), No. 6 seed Prolific Prep (CA), No. 7 seed Montverde Academy and No. 10 seed Dynamic Prep (Tex.). The Explorers' three losses this season came against three of those teams - Prolific Prep, Long Island Lutheran and Link Academy. Columbus avenged the loss to Link Academy later in the season and also defeated Bella Vista, Dynamic Prep, IMG Academy and Montverde Academy. If Columbus finishes the season ranked No. 1 nationally, it stands to become the first Miami-Dade County boys' basketball team to win a national championship. The closest is believed to be Miami High's 1997-98 team, which finished the season ranked No. 2 nationally.
