Calling her latest album Heidiwood isn't too much of a stretch for someone who has managed a steady seat at the celebrity table. First finding fame in 2006 after being cast on the MTV reality TV series The Hills, the American personality and singer has maintained a presence both onscreen and online. When Montag began dating fellow The Hills cast member Spencer Pratt, the celebrity couple dubbed 'Speidi' was born. Married in 2009, the two have been fixtures of reality television in both the U.S. and U.K. on programs ranging from Famous Food to Celebrity Big Brother U.K. From feuds with beloved English presenter Rylan Clark to swapping partners with Olympic athlete Amanda Beard and husband Sascha Brown on Celebrity Wife Swap, missteps are rarely something these two make. Although, it looked like Heidi had made a mistake releasing her 2010 debut album Superficial. Poorly-received by critics and fans alike, the move into music didn't trend well. But over the decades, the record achieved cult status. In 2023, 13 years after its original release, the single I'll Do It went viral on TikTok. When the couple's house was destroyed in the Palisades Fire in Los Angeles, Pratt put out a call to fans to stream Superficial to help the couple generate income to rebuild. The single No Going Home delves into the loss. Essential reading for hockey fans who eat, sleep, Canucks, repeat. By signing up you consent to receive the above newsletter from Postmedia Network Inc. It hit #1 on Jan. 12, 2025. Obviously, the moment had arrived to return to music and Montag released Heidiwood in May. She visits Vancouver this week for the Cum Together: Sweet & Sticky event with Heidi Montag on Aug. 2 at Celebrities Nightclub at 7 p.m. Tickets at She is touring Pride events across North America to support the record and chatted about this latest 'comeback.' You have been on the forefront of reality TV for almost two decades. How hard is it to repeatedly 'keep it real'? A: You know, it's a very challenging market landscape, with the balance of your reality, my reality and what everyone else is going through. I feel that it continues to change with social media and shifting situations in the world. People want both less and more of it, and that makes it quite tricky. After putting so much into Superficial and building that cult following since 2010. There is the previous and new generation of people who are listening to and really enthusiastic about my music and it's great. I love hardcore pop, which I mostly listen to when I'm working out, and the escapism it provides. I'll Do It received a second go-round on TikTok, then No Going Home really captured your experiences losing your home in the Palisades fire. Is it hard to channel personal tragedy into tunes? It was really hard to get through writing it through tears streaming down my face. And recording it was equally hard. If I can help anyone through my experience, in any way, it's something I want to do. You don't realize how many people go through similar things and a lot of people have reached out telling me it really helped them, which is wonderful. This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below. My biggest fan base, from the beginning, has been the community and my entire team is gay. So not only am I performing for the community, which is dear to my heart, but also some of the people I'm closest with. What is the next move for Heidi Montag? Right now, I just want people to be able to come and enjoy that 'pop 2000s' feel of my music and show. I am previewing my new single on tour and I have another full album done. I think they are my best songs to date and an incredible followup for Heidiwood, which was a big evolution. It's quintessential pop and I'm absolutely loving being back performing. So everyone get ready — because it's going to be a real good time. sderdeyn@ Read More Love concerts, but can't make it to the venue? The Trisha Paytas Baby Theory, Explained

Though Trisha Paytas has dropped enough of her lore on the internet to keep us entertained for nearly two decades, her name is currently trending for the weirdest reason. As the social media personality announced that she had welcomed her third baby, Aquaman Moses Paytas-Hacman, on July 22, reports surfaced that rock music legend Ozzy Osbourne tragically passed away at the age of 76. Naturally, the internet lost it due to the mere coincidence. If you're confused, allow us to break down how people landed on that bizarre theory in the first place. Here is the Trisha Paytas baby theory, explained. In case you're not familiar with Trisha, she gained a massive following of more than 10 million TikTok followers and 5 million YouTube subscribers thanks to her stint on reality shows like America's Got Talent and Celebrity Big Brother U.K. and hours worth of meme-worthy YouTube mukbangs. She has truly lived many different lives in the constantly swinging pendulum of culture, and her chronically online devotees are convinced that her three children have also lived past lives since she seemingly gave birth every time a prominent historical figure passed away. The strange theory started when Trisha welcomed her firstborn, Malibu Barbie, nearly a week after Queen Elizabeth II had died in September 2022. She gave birth to another daughter, Elvis, in May 2024. Though Elvis technically wasn't born when it happened, people kept the bit going when they tied her birth to Pope Francis's death on April 21, 2025. Coincidentally, it happened again when the Black Sabbath musician Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22, the same day Trisha announced her baby, Aquaman, was born on July 12. Yep. The social media personality broke her silence on April 22, 2025, when her name was trending online following Pope Francis's death. She reacted to the news in real time with her Just Trish podcast co-host, Oscar Gracey, who revealed that the internet has a theory that Trisha is a vessel for prominent public figures to reincarnate after they've passed away. 'I just don't get it,' Trisha said. 'Is it just any influential person that dies gets to come reincarnated as my baby?' Oscar explained that the online theories typically pointed to 'historic people in power' being reincarnated as her children. Trisha then playfully retorted, 'I don't understand why my womb is carrying all of these souls.' The more you know!

Chris Hughes Shares How His Relationship With Jojo Siwa Has Influenced Him

After forming a fast friendship on Celebrity Big Brother U.K., JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes sparked public interest with their growing bond. In the weeks following the show, the pair traveled together, spent time with each other's families, and shared increasingly affectionate posts online, further fueling speculation about a possible romance. The former housemates initially described their connection as a 'soulmate friendship' during an April interview on This Morning. One month later, Siwa and Hughes have begun to offer some clarity into their romance. Here's everything we know about their relationship so far. Siwa and Hughes were both contestants on Celebrity Big Brother U.K. At the time, Siwa was still in a relationship with Australian actor Kath Ebbs. However, viewers took note of her chemistry with Hughes, especially during emotional moments in the house. The two frequently spent time together on the show, with Hughes defending Siwa during a difficult confrontation with another contestant. During an appearance on The Useless Hotline Podcast, Siwa said his support was part of what made her realize 'he's a good man.' 'He is somebody I would want my children to be like,' she shared on the podcast. 'He's such a great gentleman. He's also hilarious and a good ball of fun. He's a special guy.' 'We're very similar in our energy, in our outlook on life,' Siwa added. 'Chris was there for me at my lowest times and I was there for him at his lowest times. That's what made it so special.' She also praised Hughes's reaction to the homophobic comments she received on the show, saying, 'That showed Chris's true personality and it was beautiful to see. People obviously say what they want about people, but that showed me who he really is.' Speculation about Siwa and Hughes's relationship continued, especially after the two traveled together and began appearing in each other's social media posts. On May 20, Siwa performed a cover of 'Bette Davis Eyes' in Mexico and changed the lyrics mid-song to reference Hughes—singing, 'He's got Chris Hughes' eyes.' The following day, Siwa celebrated her 22nd birthday by sharing an Instagram, opening with a photo of her resting her head on Hughes's shoulder. 'A week I'll remember for the rest of my life,' she wrote. Hughes posted his own photos, writing, 'The previous 7 days have been the prettiest.. 😊💫🎂.' On June 1, Hughes appeared to confirm their relationship with a Snapchat photo of himself shirtless in bed, kissing Siwa on the forehead. The caption read, 'Sleeepinnn beauty.' The next day, Siwa publicly confirmed their romance in an interview with The Guardian, stating: 'It's not platonic anymore, and it's been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I'm absolutely head over heels for him.' She also addressed rumors that the relationship was a publicity stunt, saying, 'Clearly, you've never been around us. I won't ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now.' 'Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I've never [before] been in pain from smiling so much,' she added. She also said she woke up to Hughes singing one of her songs that morning. 'You know when you're alone, how you feel? You are your true, raw self,' she explained. 'I've obviously felt like that before, but never around one single person.' On July 12, Hughes told The Sun's Fabulous Magazine about his relationship with Siwa. 'Life has an unexpected way of bringing two people together, and this feels like that,' Hughes shared. 'We were meant to cross paths. We keep saying to each other it was serendipity. Life handed me a blessing in my lap.' Hughes added that when he met the Dance Moms alum he experienced a 'magical feeling,' recognizing her as 'the most precious person.' 'I adored the ground she walked on and the way she handled herself,' he continued. He then offered a timeline of their romance, saying when the show ended they still talked 'all the time.' He then 'flew to Mexico City to surprise her,' beginning the 'best three days of my life.' 'Our first kiss was genuinely special—it felt like I was in a movie,' he explained. 'I can't keep my hands off her now.' As for the negative and positive attention their relation has garnered: 'I don't care,' said Hughes, continuing, 'I wouldn't go to the effort of loving someone for any other reason than it being real. Having been in this industry for eight years, I needed to adapt to having criticism from different angles. The past few months have actually made me a little stronger mentally.'
