SE Portland pop-up aims to help MultCo Youth Pass
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Young people in Southeast Portland found a creative way to get their message out about sustainable transportation and shopping with a pop-up thrift event.
The , put on by the , included sustainable products and activities. Organizers said one of the goals was to help young people learn ways they can support expanding Youth Pass, which would give young people free year-round transportation statewide.

'Youth Pass for students who live in the city is super important because they get to go to school, go to work, go to clubs, any events, and not having accessible transportation is a barrier sometimes,' said Celeste Ruiz with the Multnomah Youth Commission.
The commission said it wants the Youth Pass expansion to be included in the 2025 Oregon state transportation package.
