Former Bruin Andrew Raycroft is speaker at 2024-25 Central Mass High School Sports Awards
Former Boston Bruins goalie Andrew Raycroft is the guest speaker at the 2024-25 Central Mass High School Sports Awards. The 2024-25 Central Mass High School Sports Awards is happy to announce that former Boston Bruins rookie of the year Andrew Raycroft is the guest speaker for the live event on June 25 at the DCU Center in Worcester. Raycroft is a former Bruins goaltender who won the Calder Trophy with the club in 2004 as rookie of the year. Advertisement In all, he played in 11 NHL seasons, including with the Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Avalanche, Vancouver Canucks and Dallas Stars, winning 113 games. Since 2014, he has been a volunteer assistant coach for UConn, and is a studio analyst for the Bruins. He is the host of a hockey podcast entitled Morning Bru with Jaffe and Razor. The 2024-25 Central Mass High School Sports Awards are part of the USA TODAY High School Sports Awards program. Tickets for the event are on sale now and can be obtained here. 2024-25 Central Mass High School Sports Awards: See all winter player of the year nominees The Central Mass High School Sports Awards are part of the USA TODAY High School Sports Awards program. The 2024-25 Central Mass High School Sports Awards program is proud to announce player of the year nominees for the winter sports season. The winners will be announced during the live show June 25 at the DCU Center in Worcester. We'll announce our celebrity guest soon. The show is produced with the support of Lundgren Honda of Auburn. Advertisement During the live show, these nominees will be honored, along with player of the year nominees and winners from the fall and spring sports seasons. The fall nominees have already been announced and can be found here. The show will also announce the winners of our premier awards, which includes boys athlete of the year, girls athlete of the year, boys team of the year, girls team of the year, coach of the year and our Courage Award recipient.
