IIM-I welcomes new IPM batch of 156 students

Indore: Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-I), organised an induction ceremony for the new batch of five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) on Wednesday, introducing 156 participants. The cohort included five international students from the UK, the USA, and Australia. On the occasion, IIM-I director professor Himanshu Rai said, "At IIM Indore, we encourage you to cultivate a mindset of curiosity, humility, and self-awareness. Don't chase perfection; instead, strive for progress, and learn to navigate your path with purpose and empathy." The IPM batch 2025–30 comprises 57 female and 99 male students, showcasing a healthy mix: 72 students come from commerce background, followed closely by 67 from science (PCM), while others represent disciplines like humanities, PCB, and interdisciplinary fields. Geographically, the batch represents over 20 states and union territories, with the highest representation from Maharashtra (26), Uttar Pradesh (18), and Madhya Pradesh (16). Professor Aditya Maheshwari of IPM said, "Our aim is to help you integrate knowledge across domains and apply it to solve real-world challenges, whether through startups, research, or impactful social initiatives." IIM-I also hosted Certificate of Academic Excellence ceremony, recognising students from previous IPM batches for outstanding academic performance.

The awards were presented to students from diverse programs such as MBA, BBA, Animation & Gaming, and MBA FinTech. The Student of the Year Award, representing integrated excellence, was conferred upon B. Shravya, Manish Sircar, and Nishanth Kulkarni (Special Mention) from MBA 2nd Year; Rakesh Jagarlamodi and Jhanvi Dhara from BBA 3rd Year; Hema Suravarapu and Ankit Kumar Vukkalkar from BBA IT 3rd Year; and Tarun Kishan from Animation 3rd Year. Appreciating the students, Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice President, KLEF Deemed to be University, said, 'We believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals who are not only academically accomplished but also socially responsible and future-ready.
